"Stupid, incredibly stupid. These ten master clans know nothing about the pride of their. forefathers and ancestors!" Snow whispered to himself, next to him sat Mizuki who's also using the terminals for the sake of teaching Snow the basics.
She had yet to see someone incapable of accessing or using a terminal, it was a fun experience to her.
He borrowed a terminal in the library, his purpose is to gather relevant information about the world he is in.
Information on the added functions to his brain, the basics of manipulating data in that information dimension, the number and the specifics of the powerhouses in Japan, etc.
"Look at the time. Mizuki, weren't you meeting with a friend this afternoon?" he asked.
Mizuki looks up at the time and read it as 03:00 PM, which is the meeting time for her to bond with her girl friend.
"That's alright, Snow-san. I told her to meet us in here, she should take five minutes more to get here. It's just walking distance from our previous spot."
He hummed and closed off all the windows, clearing the data inside before tapping Mizuki by her shoulders.
"Let's go meet her outside. I have a meeting with a certain someone after this, just in luck that you're meeting someone as well."
The two bought tumblers earlier to contain the coffee they ordered from the cafe as a take-out, so as they were waiting and doing small takes, they were also taking sips to get their minds running.
"Oh, she's here," Mizuki waved to a redhead teenager to catch her attention, and when the teenager did, she walked over while Snow felt her scanning him which is a common thing to do when meeting a friend of a friend, or in his case, a stranger accompanying her friend.
"Who's this?" she asked.
Snow bowed slightly as a form of greeting, "I'm Snow Nightshade. A mouthful, I know, so please call me simply as Snow, no need for the honorifics."
Seen as though he bowed and looks like a foreigner, she placed her suspicions to the back of her mind.
"Erika Chiba, nice to meet you," she glanced to Mizuki and asked, "Am I disturbing you both?"
"No. Actually, Mizuki here just helped me get around the city and, of course, how to use the terminal. Coincidentally, we both have scheduled appointments so here we are."
'He smiles as he talks... reminds me of a certain someone,' Erika thought to herself but never forgot to reply, "Then I'll be taking Mizuki for myself now. Thanks for giving her some company."
"I should be the one saying that. Thank you for your assistance, Mizuki. Hope you both have fun," he bowed again and left.
The two bowed as well before taking their leave, but not after Mizuki takes a last glance to him, or to his pushions to be specific.
'Blue in color... calmness of the skies and also representing the duality of ocean waves, but it is formless in shape meaning undecided... or does it represent flexibility?'
Mizuki knew better than to speak to a total stranger. She's been using her eyes as a basis to who she could interact with as suggested by her mother who is in ownership of the same eyes.
'Snow Nightshade, I should've told him to think of an alternative of his name since it does feel like a mouthful to say,' unknown to others, she likes to speak monologues.

"As for identification papers... should I visit the guardian? He should be powerful enough to give me some kind of believable identity."
"But what to give to him in exchange of a fake identity? Surely someone as powerful as him won't do something to a random stranger yes?"
"... even if I'm, one way or another, stronger than him." mutters Snow before he made way to a place where a certain shinobi resides.
While he was on the way to the shinobi's residence, he felt that he was being observed either through magic or something as trivial as technological devices.
He didn't have a way to hide from these things just yet, but surely he would in the future after getting his identity, with a small possibility that he could live in peace for his own research.
Peaceful research, something the magicians of the Ten Master Clan didn't know/learn.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of meeting a great master?" he heard a voice all around him as he finally arrived at the temple where that certain shinobi and his men reside.
"This is Kyuuchouji Temple? I must've been lost in thoughts while travelling. Anyway, Kokonoe Yakumo." Snow shook his head and turned to the empty space on his right as he waved his hand and Mana moved to his bidding, destroying the small illusion that the shinobi put up.
"... I know what you came here for. But what will you give me in exchange?" while the old shinobi knew that he was gambling whether or not this young man would be destructive or not considering that the young man in front of him has extremely superior interference strength that he's incapable of breaching!
"Hmm. You can ask me to do one job, that's all you get in return of giving me what I want." Snow entered the temple and simply wait.
Yakumo entered and sat in a seiza, thanking Snow for his gesture as Snow sat in a similar manner after him. An apprentice came over and poured tea for two before sitting on one corner, a spell covering the table preventing the conversation from leaking.
"With our men spread throughout Japan and them being constantly on guard on brief changes in the ID, we discovered you who appeared after an instantaneous change in the ID." Yakumo sipped tea from his cup and continued his story.
"As you may have seen, the Ten Master Clans have done the same."
"They, not knowing whether you are powerful or not, sent their goons in order to measure your power but failed as they do not have the means to measure someone simply by the amount of psion emitted. You have it totally in control without a single leak making us think that you are a simple commoner."
"But your interference strength and magic tolerance says otherwise." Kokonoe sipped from his tea before continuing.
"Guessing that they are going to advance their respective fields of study, they sent an order to abduct you and possibly torture you for information after an hour had passed since your appearance."
"I'll give out the suggestion not to mess with you or take chances with you, and make you your identity but that's all I can give you. Is that alright with you?" said Kokonoe as he finished his cup of tea due to the tension in the temple, or in the room specifically.
Snow calmly sipped the tea as he thought about his offer. He knew it isn't a bad deal in return of one job for him, and he knew very well that Kokonoe Yakumo doesn't have full authority over the Ten Master Clans and this is the degree of help Kokonoe can give out, and he wasn't going to want for more.
"I guess that's fine." he sipped his tea.
"I'll see to it that I'm enrolled to First High." he started to think about Shibata Mizuki and remembered that she enrolled to First High, wanting to know whether or not she chose to continue doing what she wants/needs which means becoming a Magician, he would like to see what happens after his involvement with her.
"Will do. You can stay in this temple and consider it your home, as for your name, what do you want it to be in the register?" asked Yakumo.
"Then I'll do just that. For my name, I'll stay as Snow for my given name and Nightshade as my surname."

"Hmm. Kokonoe, your disciples are quite good in terms of physical capability. Coupled with the semi Modern Magic you gave them, I see the reason why you have a huge network of information." Snow observed the prospective shinobis and found their battle techniques quite intriguing.
It may seem incredibly simple in the eyes of many cultivators back in Primal Chaos but the body cultivators will say otherwise. The young modern shinobi use movements backed up by science that make use of only all the required muscles and they use magic which is used in the same way as Profound Arts.
The ancient somewhat modern magic the head shinobi (Kokonoe) provided them with focuses more on stealth, concealment, and also if needed, assassination. They also train to control their Mana in order to not let out as much emission as possible which will affect greatly whether or not they can deal with a magician through assassination.
It is known to many that if a magician has poor control over psion/Mana then the magic technicians, or magician for short, will waste enormous amount of psion that should be used in powering a spell instead.
Kokonoe trains these young shinobi to seek control than chaos (haphazardly casting magic with no proper control).
Comprehended a cultivation technique that he created himself by observing nature, same is applied for his battle techniques, and he does not have any Profound Arts realized as of yet.
[ Nature's Pagoda - Myriad Transformations | By absorbing Heaven and Earth energy with no need of conscious control, able to nourish both mind and body at the first stage - Pagoda Manifestation.
Requiring a unique blood essence to break through the second stage, able to store nine blood essence of same rarity, nourish, refine, and purify the blood essence with the help of the stored Heaven and Earth energy inside the Pagoda. Each tile is specifically for nourishing and generating the unique blood essence.
The second stage - Myriad Transformations.
Nurtured Blood Essence: Royal Wood Spirit Blood Essence, and Royal Nightshade Blood Essence. ]
[ Nature's Wrath LVL59 | A series of technique that is realized/created by Snow Nightshade by observing Nature, executable without the use of Mana (his term for Profound Energy).
Turbulence | A blade technique granting its practitioner the ability to strike five times in a single stroke.
Fleeting Wind | A movement technique that enables the practitioner to move five meters in one step, also becoming as light as feather.
Earthquake | An auxiliary technique that adds five extreme vibrations to the practitioner's attack and/or other techniques. ]
Also his technique are heavily inspired to nature due to his great friendship with the Royal Wood Spirits back in Primal Chaos and one of them gave him a drop of Royal Wood Spirit Blood Essence!
Thus when he created Nature's Pagoda, he taught it to the Royal Wood Spirit who gave him a drop of her Blood Essence and gave her a drop of Royal Nightshade Blood Essence as well in order for her to nurture it.
Another reason is that nature is all around him and it's free, he does not know why other cultivators would try to comprehend some concept entirely out of their reach in their current level which made his battle technique requiring zero Profound Energy to execute!
As for Profound Arts or magic, he'd like to do research in peace and a clean workshop to do his work but with the current state the many countries are in... he expects skirmishes, few terrorist attacks, and of course, war.
"No, we cannot come close to your level just yet." Kokonoe has personally witnessed his techniques and it made his back dripping with cold sweat as to how dangerous those moves were, imagining their effects on the battlefield only increased his fear.
'An instantaneous five strikes happening in one stroke of his sword, an extremely fast movement technique that would make it seem as if he vanishes if he goes from a static position to full burst of speed, and a technique that could generate an earthquake infused attacks...'
'He named them after Nature... a cultivator who comprehend nature is a force to reckon with indeed.' Kokonoe took a more serious expression since Fleeting Wind will make the magicians baffled at how they would position their magic!
Even then, his sheer interference strength will render every magic useless as long as Snow does not let the Eidos change by using Zone Interference!
"Kokonoe... I need a terminal that will let me search for magic design... Nevermind, I'll be going to First High School anyways. Best to do it there and enjoy my youth even if only for a bit." A tired smile adorned Snow's face as he stood up and entered his quarters while Kokonoe didn't want to pry any deeper.
But a thought appeared in his mind even for a brief moment.
'Just what did that youngster experience...'
