Synopsis
It came without warning. Transmigration, that is. “Fate is but a dying belief…of a world that will soon be home to chaos. Like a single lotus flower, the future blossoms; Upon its petals, I shall embrace chaos.” With the help of his biochip, Drodosis will rise from a baby to a full-fledged adult, always striving to accomplish his dreams, by any means necessary.

'I am so sleepy…'

[Beep! Name: Drodosis Thornfield (3-years-old, 5 months). Strength – 0.19 | Agility – 0.22 | Physique – 0.68 | Status: Healthy. Perks: Noble Charisma]

Before Drodosis could understand what was going on, he fell asleep. When he awoke, he found himself surrounded by two giants.

'Oh, they aren't giants…they must be adults, which means that I am still a baby.'

After successfully appraising his scanned body, he understood many things.

'I must be a noble's son or something, since there are a lot of furniture. Moreover, I have the 'noble charisma' perk, although I don't know what the effects are. As a little boy, the amount of strength and agility I possess is very low, but it's normal since it is based on adult's standards. 1 unit is the most average worker's standard.'

"This is a healthy little boy! It's a pity he is so shy…", Helena said.

For some reason, Drodosis could understand every word, although he found the language quite bizarre and the way of formulating sentences quite messy.

This woman was his mother. He didn't know how he came to this conclusion, but he knew, innately, that she loved him as much as he loved her. For some reason, he felt like it was in his genes that he loved her.

"Haha! He will grow into a wonderful knight, Helena!", Roland exclaimed with pride in his voice.

Roland was a healthy grown man, about 30 of age, with ripped muscles on his body, and a cool armour on his shoulders.

"Ah?", Drodosis faked a child's behaviour, "I want to eat!"

Roland answered, with fatherly love, "of course, son. Follow me, and never take anything for granted. Mark my words, you will become the great lord of the Kerrosby Valley in the future! So, you must make sure to always strive for strength, and ruthlessness!"

Helena just smiled upon hearing her husband's words, but she couldn't help but agreeing. After all, as young as her son was, it was better to open his mind and prepare him for the future.

Drodosis started to eat voraciously, and he suddenly heard the biochip issuing a notification.

Drodosis, obviously joyful from this discovery, asked his father with genuine curiosity, "What did I just eat, dad? I love it!"

"Do you like it?", his father answered with slight curiosity, "You never liked vegetables before. This is a very special kind of soup, which mixes Comfrey herbs, Oyame roots, Egave beans, one-horned bull meat and Sparking salt. It's Henri's specialty."

"Oh!", Drodosis was truly surprised. It was the first time he heard about a soup being mixed with a meat coming from an uncommon one-horned bull, obviously a beast that didn't exist on Earth. "Who is Henri?"

"I was waiting for this question! Henri is the castle's chef, the best cook of the region. Originally, he was from the Heister Household, but after losing the war, his family disbanded, and he is now considered a fallen noble. Seeking refuge, I accepted him, and he proved himself worthy of my expectations."

"I am sleepy…", Drodosis admitted. Being a little boy was more difficult than what it seemed. He always felt sleepy, and according to Alpha, it was beneficial to sleep often.

[Beep! Sleeping increases brain's development speed by 14%. Sleeping a lot for the next three years is advised to earn a quick-witted perk.]

In the past, Drodosis didn't believe in the notion of talent. After all, no matter if you are considered dumb or a genius, you shared the same kind of brain. However, it was also true that childhood and education were core elements to your future. This is why Drodosis thanked the gods that he transmigrated into a noble family.

If he were born in a commoner family, who knew if he wouldn't be starving by now?

"Arthur, bring my son to his bedroom, please. Make sure he doesn't need anything.", Roland ordered a loyal servant near him.

The latter answered with respect: "Yes, my lord."

Drodosis was picked up gently, and he fell asleep in a few seconds.

Days passed very quickly. After all, most of the time, he was sleeping. In fact, he slept so much that his parents were starting to worry about a disease…which led to this awkward situation: Drodosis was naked, in front of an old man who examined everything on his body.

"Torso, healthy. Brain, healthy. Muscles: healthy. I don't know why you are worrying so much. Although it varies a lot, boys and girls this age must sleep a lot. In fact, I would be worried if he didn't sleep this much!", the doctor diagnosed after a few minutes of examination, before continuing, "Moreover, I think his body is quite above-average. You know, few people can walk this fast at his age."

"Really? Maybe it has something to do with me being a knight…", Roland asked with curiosity.

"Indeed, according to my mentor, the reason why 80% of knights come from noble family is because of bloodline. As your blood flow in his veins, he possesses a higher potential than peers of his age. But only the future will tell us whether he will be able to break through the knight realm or not.", the old doctor said.

'What the fuck is a knight, and the knight realm?'

[Beep! Requiring more information. However, your father is knight, so he can surely enlighten you.]

"Dad, what is the knight realm?", Drodosis asked with genuine curiosity.

"You're too young for that, haha!", Roland burst in laugher, "Ask me the same question when you turn 8, and maybe I will answer that for you!"

Then, Drodosis listened to the conversation passively, before returning to his bed by himself.

At this point, he could walk by himself, without even needing to be helped. The reason why he had so much trouble walking and completing basic movements when he first transmigrated wasn't because of a lack of strength or agility. It was because he had trouble adapting from a full-fledged adult body to a 3-years-old vessel.

The transition was far from being flawless. Drodosis couldn't remember the number of times he fell straight on the face, under the worried glare of his mother.
