We turn back time to a couple of days after the events that unfolded between Luis and Argus have occurred. Currently, Mary has just arrived back home and has just finished unpacking the clothes that she took for her trip. She's now laying down on her bed. We now transition into Mary's side of events for the last month.
I'm back here in the city, it's been over two months since I've been here. I have been worried about both Luis and Tara. They ignored me the whole summer, why would they? Do they not like me anymore... No, I shake my head, I can't think like this.
Something must have happened... I hope, no wait I don't!! I don't know, it's been so long since I spoke or texted either one of them. They never answered either one of them. Honestly, I'm worried, I'm too scared thinking that something may have happened and they couldn't contact me...
....But I'm also scared if nothing happened, I don't want to end up alone again... Does it have to do with what happened between Luis and me before I left?... But he was texting me the next day normally... I won't get anywhere like this, first thing tomorrow I'll visit them.
I definitely want to see them again!! I start swinging side to side, I hope that I can still remain by their side if possible...
With those thoughts plaguing her head, Mary goes to sleep without knowing the reality of what awaited her the following day.

I wake up the following day to the sound of chatter coming from the living room. I lean over my bed and grab my phone, it's 12 o clock already... I feel tired from sleeping so much, maybe I should go back to sleep.... or maybe not.
"Ugh!"
I let out I groans stretch my arms and legs thinking that today's the day I get some answers.
I get up and immediately go to the bathroom, I'm going over to Tara's today and I'll find out that there was just some sort of misunderstanding... But what if they were ignoring me. I hit my cheeks, don't think negatively!! I'm sure there's a reason for something like this to happen.
I'll just go over and ask them, they are the first friends I made since coming to the city and they were nice. We even exchanged those bracelets... That was so embarrassing!!! I hope they are taking care of them though, I spent a whole day picking them out...
It's alright! I'll just go over and ask them why they couldn't talk to me this last month. I look at my reflection in the mirror...Not looking like this though, I take a long shower, change into cute clothes. Hopefully, this dark blue blouse and pale blue jeans look good on me. A little makeup and...Done.
Oh Gawd, it's already one o clock, I'll just leave right now.
"Mom, I'm going to head out!"
"Alright, just make sure to be back before dinner!"
I head out the doors and take the subway towards Luis' house.
"*Growl*."
... I should've eaten something before coming. I forgot I haven't had anything to eat since we left the airport yesterday! What do I do, what if it makes a sound when I'm there?... But it wouldn't be bad to stay there for lunch too. The train stops, this is my stop, I walk out of the train...
I sigh, I'm way too worried... what is going to happen? I walk out of the station and after a couple of minutes of walking, I arrive at the apartment. Alright, all I have to do is touch this doorbell, I'll ask what's going on and that will be the end of that... I breathe and then breathe out... I extend my hand towards the doorbell... slowly...
.... I can't do this... no matter what I try I can't of anything other than something bad happening or them ignoring me. I can't take either one, I start tearing up so I decided to run, I don't want to find out why we lost contact the first week of my trip.
I start running away.
"Do you need something from my-" I suddenly crashed into someone... I fall down, the one I crashed into was...
"Are you okay? something happened that made you.... you are that girl that hung out with Tara those last few days..."
What do I do now, her brother caught me outside the door. I start running again but I feel him grab my arm.
"Let me go...."
"Calm down, alright. Calm down."
"....."
"Aren't you here to pay your respects?"
"....Pay respects? What do you mean?"
"....Isn't that why you were crying. I didn't see you come here before, I thought you came to ask in which cemetery she was."
" *Sniffle* What do you mean? *Sniffle*"
"....Didn't you know? Tara is dead..."
....Tara is dead? What happened...What does he mean, that can't be true...
"Liar! That can't be true! Stop lying...."
Trevor showed a face full of hurt, almost as if I had something I shouldn't have..... Is it really true?...
"....For now, let's head inside and then we'll talk."
"...Ok."
He took out his key and opened the door for me. I walked inside and waited for him to lock the door behind him. We headed into the living room slowly and quietly. After we arrived he finally spoke out loud
"Take a seat I'll get us something to drink... there are some things that you may need to know about Tara and Luis."
.... Did both of them die? Did something happen to them? What is going on?
He opened the fridge, served us both some fruit punch. He then seated down on the couch and put both refreshments on the table. We both sat there quietly without speaking a word. Finally, after a long moment of silence, Trevor decided to speak up.
"Tara was killed the first week of summer and Luis has gone missing ."
