Emotions... Who needs them? They give away your plans and I was going to make sure that nobody knew my plans unless I wanted them to. I was on my way to the court meeting without my father, I didn't get any sleep last night due to writing and perfecting my speech for court.
When I walked in nobody looked thrilled to be there and they all just gave me curious glances, I knew what they were thinking "Where is that girls father?" or "Isn't she the one that's giving a speech today? Doesn't she need her father to accompany her?" I carried on and walked to the spot where I would be sitting. I sat down and looked at where my father was supposed to be sitting, it felt strange doind all of this without him.
It took about another 2 hours until the meeting was started the announcer stated "Gentlemen! Before we get started today there will be a speech made, a speech to be accepted into our royal court society. And for the first time in history the speech will be made by a..." he said the last words with distaste "woman. Princess Rosemary. You may take the floor" I stood up and made my way down to the floor where I would stand infront of all these hypocritical, disgusting, ignorant men and make my speech.
They all glared at me on my way down, knowing that I had started something that was completely untraditional. I stood on the floor and took a breathe and started "My name is Rosemary..."
