Old Madam Wang felt the tension between the four youngsters in front of her and created an excuse to dismiss them.

Being questioned, Si Yifeng fakes a hurt expression.
"Xiao Shu, shouldn't you be thanking me for the help early? By the way, you must be Yunning right? Nice to meet you. Your brother talked a lot about you"
Ming Shu almost spit blood when she saw the playboy smile that was a trademark for the young man in front of her. She was even more aggrieved when she saw the blush in her sister's face.
Different from what Ming Shu thought the blush on Yunning's face wast due to her being infatuated with Yifeng, but because she was ashamed that her brother talked about her with his friends.
"Yunning don't fall pray to this guy enchanting ways. And you, didn't you already had your fun playing with people today?"
"Absolutely not. I will show you a good show later"
With that and a wink to Yunning, Si Yifeng left to prepare for his last play.
Ming Shu snorted. She hopes he won't do too much damage on the Wang Family. She had a debt with them and would be hard to pay if he turned against them.
Turning to see her sister and take her to net Meihui, Ming Shu was startled when she saw her sister was still looking at where Yifeng. Did she liked him? Although he had a high rank, he was a playboy, but he did treat people nice...

Yunning was disgusted with Yifeng. After he winked at her, her sister immediately turned to see her reaction, missing when Si Second Young Master looked at her sister and smirked.
It was clear that the young master had some kind of interest in her sister, which was fine and perfectly understandable for Yunning. The problem is that he has such a bad personality, that Ming Yunning is sure that her sister will suffer on his hands.
Yunning felt a light tap on her head. Looking at the owner, she saw her Jiejie with a big smile.
Ming Shu felt relieved and amused with her sister's answer. To think that her weak and shy sister would be so fierce defending her interests.
Yunning meek and shy personality was a constantly worry to her siblings who feared she would be bullied outside, but seeing her now, Ming Shu felt her sister wouldn't be so easily bullied. Beside being able to make a stand for herself she can easily spot rotten apples!

Si Yifeng was drinking tea and chatting with some other young masters when, *atchoo*.
Rubbing his nose, he wondered who could possibly be talking about him. Should be little Xiao Shu. She probably is excited to see what he prepared.
'Hm, should I make even more exciting to Xiao Shu?'. A mischievous smile appeared on his face. 'Aah, this will be so much fun!'

Ming Shu felt a shiver like something bad was about to happen, but after looking around and not finding anything problematic, she dismissed the thought.
She took Yunning's hand and went to find Mo Meihui.
Everything was normal in the body soothing Ming Shu's nerves, which still felt a ominous premonition.
She would check Wang Fangyi every now and then, try to figure out what exactly her friend was trying to do.
Because of this she spotted one of her friend's maid coming and saying something at Fangyi's ear. Not long after she noticed the maid causing two seemingly random accidents, managing to take two guests from the party to change clothes.
The two guests were none other than the heir of the Duke Pingnin, whom Fangyi's married in her past life, and Wang Fangyi's cousin. Although Ming Shu, guessed what probably was happening she was puzzled why would Wang Fangyi even do that.
The only way it make sense, is for both of them having betrayed her, but she didn't get involved with the Duke's heir until two years from now, when Fangyi would meet him in a lantern festival. Unless...
Unless she was also rebirthed and in her past life, unknown to Ming Shu, the pair of dogs betrayed her best friend.

She probably parted from her because of how much the Wangs suffered because of her. It also explained why she was making connections with the other 3 powerful households. With her contact to Zhao Song, she probably revealed in some way Si Yifeng's real identity, making him be persued earlier than expected.
Having figured out, Ming Shu hastily looked for friend to clarify everything, just to see she was not on her sit anymore.
Looking around, she also noticed Zhao Song's absence.

She looked at Si Yifeng, who feeling her gaze, only made an annoying mischievous smile.
'He did it. I need to find them before anyone else'
Unfortunately, fate was not on her side.
Just as she made an excuse to leave, Fangyi's maid who caused the accidents early, came running.
