Liu Rushi sat back on her chair. She felt upset upon thinking about Ji Min Jun. Even while drinking her coffee, she couldn't think about him. She should have actually sent him back before Feng Xinglang had arrived. She hit on her forehead. "Aigoo! I am just just stupid."
Nevertheless, she got back to work. And then came the noises of the annoying gossipers. 'AHH!! These women. They don't just stop gossiping. Dad shouldn't pay them because all they do is just gossip instead of work.' Liu Rushi thought.
She just ignored them and continued with her work.
But when the women started with their actual gossip, Liu Rushi couldn't help but move a little closer to them so that she could hear it too. The topic on which they started talking was a hot topic in their department. It was about the new Manager.
She stood up from her chair and moved away from her table standing just a few inches behind the women.
She pretended as if she was doing something on phone and focused all her mind on their gossip.
One woman who was probably in her mid-twenties said "I heard that the manager is going to be a man, handsome above all...." She blushed at her words and gave a small laugh.
"REALLY??" The other two women asked in utter surprise.
"Yes. And I also heard that he is from Korea."
No wonder. when Liu Rushi heard that, the image of the guy who just gave her coffee flashed through her mind 'He too looked Korean.'
"KOREA?" The other women again asked surprised. Their voice was too loud that broke Liu Rushi from her trance. She immediately shook her head 'Gosh! Why am I suddenly thinking of him?' She asked to herself and continued eavesdropping them.
"And you know what?" The other woman who was agreeing with the woman in her mid-twenties started to speak.
It was now her time to speak about the rumor which she had heard. She took a long gap to make the women curious.
"And what, Sister Ying?" The woman who had said that the manager was a man asked.
And Sister Ying turned to the side to look here and there. That was when her eyes fell on Liu Rushi.
Liu Rushi's and Sister Ying's eyes contacted for a second and Liu Rushi felt that she was caught red-handed.
She immediately lifted her phone towards her ear and turned around, yet she maintained her position. She still stood in that place but she just turned around pretending as if she was on a call. She started nodding her head to make the call look even real.
She couldn't move now. She wanted to know what that last thing Sister Ying was going to tell. She was ultimately anxious.
Sister Ying felt something off but she was too much interested in the gossip that she didn't bother much. She just looked at her friends and they asked her again "What, Continue... Sister Ying." They requested her to continue.
If Liu Rushi would have been there, she would have asked more powerfully than those two.
And Sister Ying continued her broken sentence. "I heard that he is single."
"SINGLE?? OUR NEW MANAGER IS GONNA BE SINGLE?" The woman in her mid-twenties exclaimed loudly. However, this rumor was to be kept hidden. So after she said that sentence aloud Sister Ying pulled her towards a lonely corner.
Everyone looked at them in surprise. Mostly no one had interests in their gossips because that is what they used to do everyday. But when they heard this particular sentence, it caused a commotion in the department.
Yet, there was a certain person who was not happy about this news. Liu Rushi kept the phone on the table, frustrated. She had a disappointed look on her face. "HAH! Too much for the manager being a single, huh??"
This single-wingle thing didn't bother her at all. She actually was eagerly waiting for her news to be announced.
Actually, a few days back at her house, she had heard her father saying Mr. Feng to keep Liu Rushi as the Manager's Assistant. And that was when it peeked her interest. She so much wanted this position.
While the colleagues started talking to one another, Liu Rushi sat back on her chair sipping the coffee. Although it had become cold by now, her stomach was hungry.
She lazily opened her computer and adjusted her seat.
After a few seconds she heard a couple of steps and the whole department became silent. She moved her head away from the computer and looked aside at the entrance. Her eyes widened in shock and she hastily got up.
As she got up, the chair fell behind her making a loud sound. She closed her eyes and gave a sheepish smile. She lifted her chair and kept it back at position and looked at her father who had just entered along with Mr. Feng and... Liu Rushi again looked surprised at the man.
It was the same guy who had given her coffee. But, WAIT! WHY DOES HE HAVE AN ID-CARD?
Thinking that she saw it wrong, she blinked her eyes quite a few times and yet the same image stood in front of her eyes. "Is this actually real?"She whispered to herself in shock.
And something else suddenly struck on her mind. And her mouth opened wide in disbelief. All the employees had smile on their faces but Rushi was the only one to had her mouth opened....LONG! O_O O_O
"He.... is THE MANAGER?"
