Letting her go, after releasing himself; Lei Qingshan wore his pant and walked out of the cubicle. "This indeed is our last time." He said as he walked out.
He went to the wash basin and splashed water on his face. Looking at himself in the mirror, he realized that it's not Zhang Wei, but Lei Qingshan himself.
'That is why, she didn't wanted it.'
Grabbing a tissue, he cleaned his face and went out of the bathroom leaving Liu Rushi alone inside.
Liu Rushi squatted down and bursted into tears. Bringing her legs closer to her body, she hugged them and started crying.
"Are you okay??" A woman who entered the bathroom heard a voice coming from inside a cubicle, so she walked towards it and asked.
Liu Rushi heard it and got up. She wore her dress properly. And came out of the cubicle.
She looked at the woman, the woman smiled at her. "Thank you!! I'm fine." Liu Rushi bowed to her.
Walking to the wash basin, she opened the tap and splashed the water on her face. Grabbing a tissue she cleaned her face and looked at the woman staring at her intently.
She questioningly looked at her. "Is something wrong?"
The woman shook her head and said "Aren't you Liu Rushi, the daughter of The Liu Family?"
Giving a nod, Liu Rushi replied "Yes. And you are?" She didn't quite get how this woman was able to know her.
The woman smiled happily and approached Liu Rushi. "You are so beautiful, just how my son had described about you."
Confused, Liu Rushi asked "Your son??"
"Yes, my son Lei Qingshan, he always speak about you. Says you are really beautiful and nice." The woman said that she is the mother of Lei Qingshan.
She introduced herself as Lei Xiu Ying.
Even though, she was the mother of the richest person in Beijing, she was dressed plainly and mostly didn't show off. Seeing Lei Qingshan's mother stand in front of her, Liu Rushi bowed and greeted her properly.
Keeping her hand on Liu Rushi's head, Lei Xiu Ying asks "Why were you crying, my child? Did my son hurt you?"
Hearing this, Liu Rushi wanted to say her the truth. She wasn't able to hide all of this from a woman who was looking after her worriedly.
However, she decided not to, because she didn't wanted to worry a worrying person more.
Shaking her head, she said "No!! It's just I missed my friends and all. Your son really takes good care of me. He is really good!"
Lei Xiu Ying got relief upon hearing Liu Rushi's answer. She then asked her about the event and Liu Rushi looked at the time. It was 9:15.
The event had already started.
"Ohh no... We are late! Hurry. Let's go."
Taking Lei Xiu Ying, along with her, she took her to the hall.
On reaching the hall, Liu Manni approached Liu Rushi, worried. "Where were you, my dear? I was so afraid.. What took you so long??"
Looking down, Liu Rushi said nothing and introduced Lei Xiu Ying to her mother.
Her mother hit on her arm and said "Idiot, we were the one who first saw her. And you are getting us introduced?"
Scratching her head, Liu Rushi said "Ahh, I didn't know it, that's why I did the introduction. Ahh!! My hand hurts."
"Stop pretending or I'll hit you more."
Liu Rushi walked and stood beside her friends. "Sorry, it took time." She kept her head lowered and didn't say anything other than sorry.
He Yi An who was fast enough to notice the tears escaping from Liu Rushi eyes, whispered to Liu Rushi "Is everything alright? Why are you crying?"
Wiping her tears from her eyes, Liu Rushi answered "Nothing, nothing!! I just miss this all."
Yang Yue wearing a beautiful, A-Line blue pearl dress entered the hand holding Liu Zhang's arm. Liu Zhang who wore blue suit looked dashing with his hair all pulled back.
As soon as they entered, everyone started cheering and clapping.
Liu Rushi looked at the couple and felt happy. She also clapped her hands and cheered for them. She felt a little calm now.
Yang Yue and Liu Zhang walked towards the table.
The table was arranged so beautifully. It was covered by a blue cloth. Petals of various flowers were arranged in a heart on the table and in that heart, a huge 3 layered strawberry cake was kept.
The decoration was wonderful as it was all done by Liu Zhang.
Liu Zhang invited his family members, his two sisters and his parents.
Liu Rushi who was lost in her thoughts didn't realize that her brother was calling her.
When He Yi An and Feng Mian called Liu Rushi, then only she broke out of her trance and went up to her brother.
Everyone clapped and cheered for her too as she was looking stunning in a purple gown.
She hugged her sister-in-law and wished her happy birthday.
Yang Yue thanked her and decided to cut the cake after everyone had wished her.
Liu Jiangou stopped and asked Liu Rushi "RuRu, Where is Lei Qingshan? Call him over here."
Liu Rushi looked around and saw that he wasn't there. She knew that he was gone, so she said "I don't know. It's fine, he doesn't likes to do this all."
"Who said I don't like to do it?" Lei Qingshan came holding a bottle of wine in his hand. The bottle was already half empty. He was drunk.
Walking unsteady, he went towards Liu Rushi.
"Why do you always put me aside?" Taking a sip from his bottle, he asked Liu Rushi.
Liu Rushi didn't say anything and started to hand over the knife to Yang Yue.
Lei Qingshan caught her hand and stopped her "Why aren't you saying anything? Tell me, Why do you always put me aside?"
Liu Zhang who stood beside Liu Rushi asked Lei Qingshan "What's wrong? Did you guys have a fight??"
Looking at Liu Rushi, Lei Qingshan replied "Why don't you ask your dearest sister?"
Liu Zhang looked at Liu Rushi and noticed that she was silent. Being a brother he knew that whenever she was silent, she hid something.
He looked at Liu Rushi and asked "RuRu, What happened? Won't you share anything with your brother?"
Liu Rushi looked up revealing her red-teary eyes. "It's... nothing, brother. Let's carry on with the party!"
Seeing his sister cry, Liu Zhang hugged her. As soon as he hugged her, Liu Rushi started crying. "I'm sorry! I...sob.. I.. spoiled the party."
Noticing her cry, Lei Qingshan took another sip from his bottle. "Why are you crying, when I should be the one to cry?"
Pulling her away from her brother's embrace, he asked "Why are you crying? Tell me! TELL MEEE..."
Seeing all the commotion her son was causing, Lei Xiu Ying who stood there came near her son and slapped his arm. "What are you doing? Why are you spoiling the party?"
Lei Qingshan looked at his mother. Taking another sip from his bottle, he threw it on the floor.
*CLANK*
"Damn! This bottle also had to get over now?" Smashing the broken glass pieces with his shoes, he said "I'm making the party more fun, Mom."
"Just SHUT UP!! LETS GO!! WE NEED TO LEAVE! Excuse me, I'm sorry for causing all this ruckus. I'm really sorry." Apologizing to Liu Rushi and her family members and to all the guests present, Lei Xiu Ying dragged the drunken Lei Qingshan out of the hall.
Seeing the commotion cause by Lei Qingshan, Liu Rushi wiped her tears. Giving a smile, she apologized to her sister-in-law. "I'm sorry. He doesn't at all likes this parties. I shouldn't have forced him here. I'm sorry, sister-in-law. Please carry on!"
Then she apologized to the guests present and they continued with the party.
