"Sheng, I need your help."
Song Sheng's face held no emotions; therefore, it was hard to decipher how to he felt, what he was thinking. But she came to look for him for another reason.
"I thought so. You wouldn't have looked for me if it wasn't so," Song Sheng said.
Qian Meigui nodded in agreement. "You weren't answering your calls, so I came here instead."
Song Sheng looked at her, eyes calm, his face tight. "I'm sorry; I was busy."
"No need," Qian Meigui responded bluntly.
"Why are you here?" he asked.
"I need your help on a case I am working on."
Song Sheng was stunned, "Case?" he questioned.
"Yes, Ren entrusted me to defend the company against a lawsuit."
Song Sheng raised a brow, but he looked worried.
"Don't worry, I already know how to defend them, but I need you to help me more on investigative matters. I believe that they are lying to obtain more money, but the plaintiff seems confident," said Qian Meigui.
