"Umm what just happened?"
I was getting more and more confused with everything that is happening.
'Who are these two?'
As I was trying to comprehend the situation I noticed that two of them were staring at me-
"That was dangerous don't you know that bloodhound is a c-rank monster. Unless you are given proper training don't even think about fighting them."
I was dumbstruck, so I just simply nodded.
"Umm who are you both."
"We are, oh where are my manners I am Gerard and this is my friend Natasha. We are mercenary."
Taking out a badge he showed it to me. It was a silver colored medallion. Ren did told me that in this world there are mercenary whose work is to go around and hunt monster and get reward the rating of monster as follows- bronze>silver>gold>platinum>diamond.
"Umm uh thank you very much from saving me. What are you people doing here."
"We are here because we received a request to hunt some rock-rats in Elrica town. So we are going to Elrica town to complete the request."
"Rock rats?"
"Oh they are not that strong monster but they create a lot of problems and destroy farmland and fields."
"I see. You said that you are going to Elrica town right."
"Yes."
"Do you mind if I accompany you both."
? ? ?
"Why?"
"Well I was on my way to Elrica town in East as well. But I and my companions were attacked by some monsters so I ran away. And now I am separated from them."
"I see. Do you mind elaborating the monster that attacked you. Tell us its appearance."
"We were attacked by pack of those grey wolf."

After going through a long interrogation they finally agreed on letting me in. How? In my previous life I was trained in such a manner that I could easily make excuses and evade questions so that I could prevent the interrogator from knowing the whole truth.
As I decided to go along with them. I and these two were having a little distance between each other. I just didn't wanted to talk to them a lot as I wanted to evade questions as much as possible.
Plus these two very powerful. They used fire and lightening attack so that means that one of them worship a lightening deity while the other worship a lightening deity while the other worship a fire deity. Truthfully having these power other than my bloodline ability is pretty awesome.
As we kept on continuing our journey I was having less and less things to worry about. Firstly security as these two are around me, I don't fear anything. And direction, I don't need to worry about getting lost with them around.
As Natasha was fighting against another bloodhound wolf I noticed that some sparkles were coming out from her spear blade. Noticing my gaze Natasha smiled and said-
"I am an intermediate rank spear user."
"I see."
Thank you Ren, as he told me that in this world people hone their skills and try to reach the stage of sword-master, spear-master or any other weapon-master.
There are 5 ranks to become a master in using a weapons they are-
beginner>intermediate>advance>expert>master.
The more higher stage a person reach more powerful they will become. And then they will be able to use something called aura. Those sparkles that were coming out from her spear blades are aura.
After continuing our journey for 2 more days we finally crossed the mountain. Crossing the big mountain was very rough, but somehow we managed and finally what lies in front of us is the Elrica Town's gate.
