Year 1824
"Return my ball!" said the brown eyed girl.
"And what do I get in return Ms Roop!?" asked the seven-year- old Rashid teasingly.
*bam* a quick slap landed on his face as the little six-year-old girl snatched her ball away from him. He was still in the state of shock when he heard her speak "your fault".
Rashid Khan and Roop Kapoor have been neighbors since generations. This was that time in India when the clashes between the Hindu and Muslim groups were frequent yet here, the Khan and the Kapoor family, though belonging to different castes( I mean those so called *castes* =_= ) they have always been a family, sharing joys and sorrows together.
Rashid's father, Abdul Khan, was a teacher at the school which was only open for the boys group at the time while Roop's father, Dev Kapoor, was the
editor of the only newspaper in the city of Lahore,Daily times. But still, these two kids were always at odds.
