Chapter 39 - Chapter 39

"Jezell I think we should leave Angel to continue studying for her upcoming examinations because I know if both of you gets eliminated, she would need that scholarship to continue staying in Country A and to take care of you as well," Miss Carter said.

"Good luck Angel and study hard for the both of us, and when we get to Country A I will also try to apply to do a degree or something so I could also help you out later on."

"Thanks and go and relax, it has been a busy two weeks for us."

"You also worked hard this past two weeks, get some rest. Oh, before I leave there is a three weeks before your flight to Country A, do you guys want to visit your family before you all head to Country A?"

"No, but can you just verify if I can do my examinations in City A or I would have to return to City X to do it?"

"Sure will do that, now get some more rest," Miss Carter said and then left.

Miss Carter and Jezell left Angel alone in the room to study, Angel tried to head to bed early that night but for some reason she just couldn't sleep so she got of the bed and continued studying and she only fell asleep yet again around six in the morning.

Sunday Angel remained her room, Miss Carter, Mrs. Webster, Mr. Bernard and Jezell took turns in checking up on Angel throughout the day as they brought her snacks and meals to eat. They insisted that she eat her food but they really did it so that she could take a break from studying and wouldn't be over thinking.

Miss Carter visited Angel around noon and handed her the examination timetable for City A Royalty College together with a map and told her to have lunch with the others. Angel did indeed leave the room and head to the dining room following Miss Carter.

In the dining room Mr. Bernard, Mrs. Webster and Jezell were waiting for them, Miss Carter then took a seat and Angel sat at the only other seat that had a plate of food waiting for her. Jezell was happy that Angel came out of her room and decided to join them, but Angel was busy thinking about how she could have been studying some more while having lunch but just sighed.

"The semi-finals would be taking place in December this year so there are still time for you young ladies to get more training to win the semi-finals, also you all can do whatever you want to do in Country A, whether it is work or study or just look around the country. You all can think about what you all want to do, but also incorporate in your schedule your training."

"I already know what I want to do," Jezell said a bit excited.

"And what is that?" Miss Carter asked.

"I want to attend Royalty University and do a degree in Business Management."

"Have you applied before?" Mr. Bernard asked.

"No, but that is because I didn't expect that I would participate in this challenge, neither that I would win this preliminary finals nor go onto Country A."

"Sounds reasonable enough, what about you Angel?"

"Well, I plan to pursue my master's in Business and Administrative Management, work on my off days from campus and well incorporate my training on the weekends that is if I don't have any work. I will continue the workout in the morning and evening, but that depends on where we will be staying and how far away it is from both the company and the campus."

"You seem like you had this all planned," Mr. Bernard said.

"Not really, but I don't intend to lose the scholarship and the work comes with it. Then there would be the workout which has become a habit now and I feel more relaxed after working out since it makes me feel stress free and I tend to remember more."

"True, working out do tend to relax the brain and cause better results."

The five of them continued talking throughout their lunch and Angel was more relaxed by the time she returned to her room and she seemed to be more focused in her studies in the afternoon. Angel looked at the map and memorized it before she looked at her new timetable, it was the same as her previous one but instead the time and venue was different.

In her previous timetable her examinations were in the morning but instead now her examinations were in the afternoon. She had an examination on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for upcoming week and then Tuesday and Thursday for the next two weeks. The venue for the examinations were the same which was fortunate for her.

That night Angel fell asleep just a little after eight due to the extensive amount of events and studying for the past two weeks.

On the other hand back in Country A, Leon was also getting ready for sleep while his mother was insisting to fix his clothes for the next day for him since his first examination was at eight in the morning. It was only later in the night did Miss Carter retuned to check on Angel and informed her that her examinations were indeed transferred to City A and that she got her new examination timetable. Angel looked at it and saw that the examinations were at the same time and date but the only thing that had changed was the school address and the location for the examination.

Angel looked at the new timetable which had the same seven courses that she studied that semester, on the timetable she saw that the examinations were at the same time and day, but the only thing that was different was that it was in a new venue since she got to do the examination in City A instead.
