What is Love?
Love is the yearning for someone who you would do anything for. The distance between you could be 1,000 Miles or a few feet and you would fell the same about them. Nothing can stand in the way for your feelings for that person, but the thought of them not feeling the same makes it the hardest thing to bear.
Matthew was an average high school student. He didn't really excel in any of his classes and for the most part was not note worthy. This was how you could describe Matthew, he was the most average person you c an find except for his unyielding love for one of his classmates Emily.
Emily was far from the prettiest girl in his school but she was a beautiful woman none the less. She was very kind to everyone she spoke to and never put anyone down for their mistakes. She could be considered the nicest person in the school. Sure she was very nice and kind but she also had the "assets" that a woman needed.
The reason Matthew had fallen in love with her to such a huge extent was her kindness. Due to his average appearance and bland personality people never really regarded him as a person that they needed to know and some even ridiculed him for being boring, Emily was one of the only people who were kind to him despite all of his blandness.
Matthew was walking home from school when he noticed Emily standing at an intersection waiting for the crosswalk to be usable.
She was texting on her phone. Without knowing that the light hadn't changed she began walking unto the crosswalk.
A truck was speeding down the lane and was headed straight towards Emily. By this time she noticed her blunder and pure terror was shown on her face.
Matthew loving Emily couldn't stand to see her die began sprinting as fast as he could to save her. Even though he was average he was still a man with moderate physical fitness.
He managed to push her out of harms way faster than he expected and was now in the headlights of the truck.
The last thing Matthew heard was the screeching sound of the truck stopping and the crunch from all of his bones breaking.
"..."
"Hello Matthew I see that you have died from a very terrible fate on earth." said a unfamiliar voice
Matthew's head was slumped down and he was currently sitting in a chair. No that he thought about it his entire surroundings were unfamiliar. He was in a room the size of a football field. There was a large game show set the kinda looked like the Wheel of Fortune.
'Where am I?' Matthew thought in his head trying to recollect what last happened.
Then it all came flooding in. He had shoved Emily out of harms way an then was hit by the truck.
"I can hear you thinking Where am I? Well you are in a kinda limbo, since you die in a untimely fashion and you saved someone as you died God deemed you worthy of getting a second chance."
The man looked really weird. He wore a very fancy set of clothing that had a elegance to it but his hair was a mess and he had bags under his eyes making it seem that he hadn't slept in a while.
"Who are you?"
"Me? I'm an Angel with the title Archangel that was passed down to me."
'Angel you don't have any wings or a halo. Your hair is a mess and you have bags under your eyes. You look the least like an Archangel.' Matthew thought sarcastically.
"You shut up before I send you back. Angels don't have that 'halo and wings' thing. And for your information I haven't been able to sleep because people like you keep dying."
The Archangel walked up to the game show set. It really looked like the Wheel of Fortune except for
the wall which the phrase usually was wasn't there. He signaled for Matthew to go to the Wheel.
"Before we do anything let me explain. Since you died very young and saved a life when you died. God said that you have the chance to reincarnate into another world full of magic and monsters or go to Heaven."
Next to him a giant portal opened up emitting a bright white light.
"This will bring you to Heaven if you want but . . . if you want to go to the other world I will give you one weapon, armor, skill, system, etc. that will greatly help you in the next world."
Sure Heaven sounds nice but having a great weapon in a world of magic and monsters sounds much more fun.
"I'll choose the second option!" Matthew said enthusiastically as he walked up to the game show set.
The portal closed and a bunch of weapons, armor, and a few slips of paper one on each piece of the wheel. All together it equaled about a couple 100 items due to the wheels large size. Just by taking a glance the weapons on the wheel looked very powerful. There was every type of weapon you could think of one the wheel.
"Matthew please take at the wheel. Whatever you get from it you take and I will send you out to the new world."
"Okay." Matthew said as he spun the wheel with all his strength.

The wheel slowed was slowing down and Matthew couldn't keep his excitement off his face. Even though he died only moments ago he had the biggest smile on his face.
A very strong looking sword was passing by just as the wheel was about to stop. It was emitting a red glow and even a few feet back Matthew could feel the heat coming from it.
'I really hope I get that weapon. I could look so cool walking around with that!'
Right when he was about to rejoice his new weapon the wheel moved a little bit and stopped on a small piece of paper. Although Matthew was quite disappointing because he didn't get the sword but he heard the Archangel say there was powerful skills as well.
Matthew quickly open the paper to read what was on it.

You will be transported to next world with a system that will help you rise to the top in power and money using a mining company.
The disadvantage to having the Mining Inc. System is that you will have to personally man the company and until you reach a certain progression of the Mining Inc. System you will not be able to leave the company's main base.
Because of this disadvantage you will be given the help of n Archangel to guide you through the world and help you progress your system.
"Huh." The Archangel looked liked he had seen a ghost. He started to rub his hands into his hair as he signed. "Why God, Why me?!"
