Julia and Indigo sped through the post-apocalypse dystopia on a Harley, defending themselves against hordes of demon pursuers. "Get ready to jump!" Julia yelled as the bike accelerated toward the sinkhole. As Julia and Indigo fell, Julia used her astral powers to return to the van.
"Gasp!"
"You're back! Get the protection back up!" the granny said hastily as she draped a blanket on both of them.
"Did you get it?" Xiao Kai asked.
Julia smiled as she reached into her pockets and showed the red marble-like orb.
"What is that? And why did they pluck my hair?" Indigo asked.
"It was an exchange. The reapers believed that you're the messiah and having a piece of your hair gives them a chance for redemption in heaven," Julia replied sternly through her mind before continuing, "...and this, this is the clue to the next seal."
"This tiny marble?" Indigo looked at it curiously. A sudden flash ran through Indigo's mind, updated with the knowledge from the previous leyline he marvelled at the small glowing orb, "It's not a marble, it's a soul. That soul has a body and the person replacing the body is the link to the seal."
The rest of the gang looked at him in contemplation. Rob yelled, "That saved us a lot of time. Where to next buddy?"
Indigo replied, "San Juan del Hospital in Valencia."
Rob, "That's Spain... "
The golden monocle glint under the dim light. "I might know someone who knows someone," the granny said looking at Indigo, "Child, it's time you get to know your real identity."
Rob, "To his bat cave?"
Gran, "To his bat cave."
The vehicle swerved and turned to the expressway en route to Mystic Falls.
Xiao Kai took out a stack of passports and started handing them out, "Memorise them."
Indigo opened his passport and saw his photo id and name - "Indigo Richlande." "Is this my real name?" he wondered.
Julia, "You will know soon enough. Just rest for now."
