Chapter 8 - "Coming To Realization"

I was back in my room.

I will not believe what that women said.

Mother my ass!

My real Mother was at work right now. Not that lady.

Should I talk to Mom about it?

About Rin and Majesty Celindia?

I didn't believe a word she said.

I decided to wait till Mom got home to talk to her about it.

That power. The lightning. Could it happen again?

How do I keep it under control?

I forced myself to try and make the surge come back.

I tryed over and over again. It didn't come back.

"Damn it."

I needed to know how this power worked. But without being able to make it again I couldn't.

About 8:00p.m Mom got home. I rushed downstairs.

"Hi how was your day at work?" I asked.

"It was good and what did you do all day?" she said smiling at me.

"Thats what I needed to talk yo you about come sit in the kitchen please," I said.

We sat at the counter.

"What's wrong?" Mom asked concerned.

"Tell me." I said

"About what?" Mom said confused.

"Celindia," I said.

"Her face expression changed.

"After I was struck by lightning I had surges of lightning shooting from my hands." I explained.

"Some type of hole opened in the middle of the room a portal maybe and someone called me." I continued.

I watched Mom's reaction and movements closely.

I went on.

"I got sucked in and I met some guy name Rin and a women named Celindia, said she was my mother."

"Is it true?" I asked.

"There was a pause of silence.

"Yes, my sister- the war was really dangerous. She needed you safe."

I just stared at her in disbelief.

"So you've been lying to me my whole life?" I said tears welling up in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, Celindia was trying to be a good Mother. And me a good sister."

"Mother? MOTHER?!" My voice began to raise.

"LYING TO ME FOR YEARS IS BEING A GOOD MOTHER?!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry!" she said her voice shaking.

"Whatever I'm done," I said.

"I can't do this anymore," I added.

My heart hurt badly.

I felt betrayed.

I ran upstairs closing the door behind me.
