Chapter 6 - Food!

About two feet long, it was round and plump. It had short brown hair with black stripes along its body. Pink nose with two fangs hanging out of its jaw, two small tusks sticking up from its mouth, with two more beady eyes. The boar was right in front of us now.

I was behind my siblings still getting used to running I managed to keep up but barely. Brother and sister where jumping at the beast when I got there, they frightened it as they got one good scratch with there sharp claws on the boar's side. Frightened beasts like to run, and low and behold it is running straight at me, by some stroke of luck, or maybe misfortune.

The beast didn't notice me until it ran into me. I instinctively closed my eyes, and raised my arms to prepare for impact, but I was a fraction of a second slow and nailed the animal with my fists at its lower jaw. Crack. Heading this I opened my eyes thinking that the boar ran through my hands and cracked my ribs on its way past, but no. The animal was on its back injured, about a foot away from me.

As I realized what happened sister, who got to her feet after flying past a boar, came over and stuck her claws into the thing's neck and killed it with blood everywhere. I passed out, from shock and blood.

I woke up by a bloody corpse of a boar, belly up yet ripped open, not in any specific fashion but torn open a beasts teeth, guts and meet half eaten. Brother and sister where standing over the corpse making that half eaten into fully eaten, they where baring there teeth as they ate, making the fur around their mouth bloody and matted. The smell of blood was pungent and everywhere, by all means disgusting, yet mysteriously enticing. If it wasn't for that enticing nature of the smell I would have thrown up, just cause it was enticing doesn't mean I ate, it was still repulsive. Luckily I didn't feel hungry, though that might just be that picture making me that way.

I had to turn away, I couldn't stand watching my own flesh and blood eat like that. They took an hour to eat it to the bone.
