It was the time of year where family gather around a fire place to laugh with their loved ones, spend lost time over the year and remember all the things that has happened throughout the year. That was Christmas, the most fun and jolly time of year. And every year me and my family would spend time together, waiting for Santa, opening presents in the morning and eating the Turkey. However, except this year... this year was different than last year because, after my mum and dad separated everything changed for the worse. My dad moved to England and me, my mom and siblings moved to a new house.
Everything from then on changed, my mom was never the same. She started drinking, smoking and leaving the house more often than usual. Which scared me and my siblings because, one of these days, when She leaves out that door, turning her back on us, she will never come back. When that happens I'll be all alone, I won't have anyone to rely on, how am I supposed to look after my siblings. When I think about this, my heart aches and tears cannot wash away my sadness that I am feeling.
I just wish that we can be a family again.
