Somewhere up north in a large vast forest is a small town. This small town doesn't get many visitors but when they do they always greet them with their small town hospitality. Near the outskirts of town lives an elderly woman and her granddaughter Rachel. The woman is known to all as Granny and she certainly lives up to it, always baking for others and knitting them a new sweater for the colder days whenever they wear out their old one or outgrow it. Rachel, known by all as Red cause of the red riding hood, from her late mother, that she always wears. Just as warm and nice as Granny, she helps her in anyway she can and usually spends her weekend baking with her and running around town giving the baked goods to the other townsfolk.
Red's father, whom she's never met or seen, lives far off into the woods near the sawmill where he works. To Red's disappointment she's not allowed to go visit him as she's too young for such a long and dangerous trek through the woods and the town, like most others, has it's own fair share of scary stories and myths. One of the more famous being that of the Big Bad Wolf, a large black wolf said to stalk the woods, eating anyone who dare journey through the woods alone or at night.
