THIS Saunders was starting to sound like bad news to Luo Yan. First, the other was MIA when he called for the servants to gather. Then, he found out that Saunders was working as the driver of the Harcourts even 20 years back. And now, he was told that the other was seen coming out of his master's study which was now proven to be one of the rooms where the bomb was planted.
A lot of question started to pile up again. But right now, his interview with Edward should come first. He told a servant to call Edward in.
After a few seconds, Edward entered the study with his usual huff and puff with just a sprinkle of snootiness. He didn't greet Luo Yan and just directly sat down on the seat opposite the desk.
"Let's get on with your questions, detective," the other said. "You ask and I answer. The faster we get over this, the better."
"Well, then, can you tell me where you were between 12 and 1 AM?" he asked.
"I'm asleep at my room."
