Chapter 51 - Level Five God

Sky followed behind the monster groups discreetly. His expression was serious as he maintained his peak state. He would run the moment he feels danger.

Three hours passed and the EverLight town can into his view. The monsters from the town were also able to see these unintelligent monster groups coming towards them.

But strangely, as the monster groups moved towards the town, the expected screams and the chaotic situation did not occur.

The monsters moved even more slowly, thinking that the town's higher level monsters still needed some time to leave.

After all, the town master was only a level eight monster, he would not have a chance to win against one of these three groups, much less against all three.

But no matter how slow the unintelligent monsters moved, the expected Chaos did not occur. The town was strangely peaceful, and Sky's mind started to overheat as he thought of an reasonable explanation.

It was only after the monsters reached the gates of the EverLight town, did Sky notice the empty town. Strangely, the town was empty without any sounds.

The unintelligent monsters as well as Sky did not know what was happening, but the unintelligent monsters were much more daring due to their weak sense of danger. They started walking towards the town master's mansion.

Sky's left hand suddenly glowed bright and pointed towards the town master's mansion.

"Are you saying that there is something in the town mansion, that I need to retrieve?" Sky asked as he looked towards the town master's mansion.

His left hand sent a cool stream of energy into his body. This was an indication for a correct guess. Sky had guessed correctly. There was something in the mansion that he required, or rather his left hand required.

His expression turned joyful at the discovery. Every time, his left hand gave this indication, Sky had gotten a huge treasure.

But compared to previous indications which were vague, this time, the indication was too large. Seems like a huge treasure is hidden in the mansion.

But when Sky looked at the town's mansion, his expression changed. It was because, he saw numerous monsters standing in the outer grounds of the mansion. They looked like they were waiting for the three groups of unintelligent monsters.

Sky immediately pushed his senses to the max and hid deeper.

The unintelligent monsters were confused. Why were their prey so calm? Why do they not scream? Why are they looking us as if we are the prey?

These questions ravaged their small brains. But some of the younger ones did not care about these stupid things. They saw the prey, they hunt the prey. That was all in their mind.

The younger monsters who had come along to be trained, lost their patience and charged towards the standing town monsters.

Finally, expressions of slight fear appeared on those town monsters as the younger unintelligent monsters charged at them.

"IMPUDENT!" A loud voice reverberated all around the open ground. The younger monsters who charged first, had their ears burst, and fell down clutching their ears. There faces looked like they were going through unbearable pain as they screamed out.

The expressions of the three unintelligent monsters finally turned serious. They did not think much of the younger ones. Their nests were never short on young blood, they were only short on food.

Sky saw a second Human for the first time in his life. This was the same guy, who had shouted out and made the younger unintelligent monsters to fall to their knees.

Sky felt a great sense of danger emitting from the human's body. It was not a deliberate attempt from the human to scare Sky, but the killing intent around his body was too much to handle.

Sky had killed colonies of monsters before, but compared to this human, it seemed lacking. This human looked like he was born for killing.

He had a huge six feet body, numerous scars on his face, his arms were bulging, his legs looked like they were made out of steel. On the whole, he looked like an Overbearing Monarch who slaughtered everyone in his path.

"Hump! To think that they would really come. Town master, you are very wise. Do you want to come to my kingdom? I will give you a high post. It would be much better than being a town master." The human looked at a rat type monster and spoke with admiration.

The level eight rat monster bowed it's head slightly. "I am just a lowly monster, not worth of your grace's praise. Though I would like to come to your kingdom and enjoy it's safety, I think I will stay back."

"It's not that I am unwilling your majesty. It's just that, we monsters hate change unlike you humans. I don't want to leave my post which I have held for forty years." The rat monster spoke humbly.

"Ha ha! Sweet words, if you don't want to come, just don't come. What's the use for these petty words." The human laughed as he patted the rat monster on his back.

"Unlike your majesty, I am too weak. I need to be good with words to please others, in this danger filled world, being a little modest is better than being too much of a brute for those of weak strength."

"Ha ha! Seems like I cannot understand your words. We strong, never understand the weak. That's okay, why? Because we don't give a damn about weaklings. But you are different Town Master, you posses great wisdom. It's a pity you won't join me." The human laughed unrestrainedly.

"I thank your majesty for understanding." The rat monster smiled and bowed once again.

"Now, for those brutes....." the human turned and looked at the three level eight unintelligent monsters. He got up and strode towards them in big strides.

"Due to my injury when I fought against a level thirteen unintelligent monster, my level had dropped from level five God to a level eight monster." The human revealed a shocking secret.

"From that day, I vowed to eradicate every unintelligent monster I come across. Too bad you came across me." He smiled and dashed towards the three level eight monsters.

The three level eight monsters roared and encircled him. They fought with pure fists, but the shock waves from their collisions affected the whole ground.

These four, one level eight human, and three level eight unintelligent monsters fought fiercely using their fists and were in a dead lock.

It seemed like their fight would not end quickly, victory depends on those who preserve more energy as the fight drags on.

This situation was not favourable to the human as these unintelligent monsters had huge energy reserves. While the human was a level five god in the past, he is only comparable to a level nine normal monster if he used everything he knew.

Even he could not match three level eight unintelligent monsters at once.

He tried to take one out quickly, so that he would have some space for the other two, but the coordination between the three monsters was just too perfect. Without receiving a major injury, it became impossible for him to kill one of them.

In this way, these four were caught in a dead lock.

"Msbsheirb" one of the three monsters, suddenly shouted towards it's group.

This group of unintelligent monsters roared and started charging towards the town monsters.

Seeing this, the human roared weirdly and attacked with all of his power, he risked a injury and sweeped the three away.

He then jumped at the charging monsters and his palm came down on them. He used a secret art to enlarge his arm and slammed the charging monsters to their deaths.

His eyes drifted towards the other two groups of Unintelligent monsters. His eyes were warning them to not try this trick once again.
