In the midst of the chaotic battle, Letty harnessed the dark divine energy bestowed upon her and invoked the ancient incantations of the Necromancer. The divine energy fuelled her spells, and with a commanding sweep of her arms, she unleashed the powerful Skill: Soul Regalia upon the countless undead before her.
The first chapter of this formidable skill, Soul Explosion, manifested as ethereal explosions that echoed through the dungeon. The very essence of demonic souls became explosive charges, dealing damage proportional to Letty's level, wisdom, and intelligence. The undead crumbled under the onslaught, bones shattering and dark magic dissipating like dissipating mist.
But Letty's mastery extended beyond mere destruction. The dark divine energy granted her access to the second chapter of Soul Regalia—Soul Implosion. With a calculated focus, she channelled the explosive force internally, causing the undead to implode from within. The destructive power mirrored her growing narcissism and an ever-increasing pride in her abilities.
As the battlefield danced with arcane energies, Letty, fuelled by Invictus, delved into the third chapter—Soul Surgery. Her silver eyes glowed with meticulous determination as she repaired and modified souls using her own mana as the healing factor. The damaged undead found themselves ensnared in the necromantic weave, their ethereal essence reshaped under Letty's control.
The fourth chapter, Soul Transplant, beckoned as Letty infused the soul of a demonic beast into a corpse, birthing a new creation. The more potent the beast's soul, the stronger the resurrected undead became. The dark divine energy surged through the undead, infusing them with newfound strength as they rose to heed Letty's command.
Letty's pride swelled as she transitioned seamlessly to the fifth chapter—Soul Armour. Multiple souls fused together, creating an ethereal armour that defied both physical and magical assaults. The effectiveness of this dark defensive shield mirrored Letty's own strength.
The arcane dance continued with the sixth chapter—Soul Armament. Letty absorbed souls, infusing them into her own body, and strengthening her physical attributes. The battlefield became a canvas of devastation as Letty wielded her enhanced powers with lethal precision.
But Letty's mastery wasn't limited to destruction alone. With the seventh chapter—Soul Scan—she delved into the memories of the fallen, imprinting them upon her own consciousness. The echoes of countless souls became her own, a tapestry of experiences woven into the fabric of her being.
The eighth chapter, Soul Infusion, became a lifeline as Letty replenished her mana using the harvested souls. The battlefield quickly became a dance of shadows and power.
In the midst of the chaos, Letty invoked the ninth chapter—Soul Vortex. Using souls as anchors, she created checkpoints that allowed her to teleport effortlessly across the battlefield. The undead horde, once overwhelming, found themselves outmanoeuvred by Letty's strategic mastery.
With a subtle gesture, Letty unleashed spells with newfound finesse. Her mastery of soul magic became more profound under the influence of Invictus. The undead, captivated by her beauty, fell prey to the intricate and deadly spells she cast. Soul Explosion resonated with a deadly elegance, and Soul Regalia, enhanced by divine energy, turned Letty into a spectral figure of both grace and destruction.
The battlefield transformed into a surreal dance of death, where Letty's beauty became a weapon of its own. The raven-black hair swirled around her like an ethereal cloak as she moved with deadly precision. Her hazel brown eyes, now more captivating than ever, held the undead in an enchanted trance.
As the battle unfolded, Letty exploited the mesmerizing effect of her enhanced beauty to finish her foes swiftly. The undead, lost in the allure of the necromancer before them, succumbed to the devastating spells that came their way. Banshees wailed, skeletal warriors crumbled, and liches found their dark incantations disrupted by the radiant presence of Letty.
Amid the chaos, Letty's beauty became both a shield and a weapon. Her perfect figure moved with a dancer's grace, each step leaving destruction in its wake. The battlefield, once a realm of death and darkness, now bore witness to the stunning transformation brought forth by the divine energy of Narcissus.
As the torrent of Invictus surged through Letty's being, her consciousness expanded, resonating with a dark and potent energy. Will, as the Hub of the Centralized Tripartite Soul brethren Contract, channelled the mental energy from Narcissus through the intricate weave of their connection. Invictus, the Noble Intent born from narcissism, transformed within Letty, blending seamlessly with her destructive abilities and granting her unprecedented power.
Of all of Will's comrades, Duke had the best overall potential due to his affinity with divine energy. Alice got the greatest benefit from the Tripartite Contract, but Letty would be the greatest beneficiary of Invictus, because within her burned the flames of revenge-fueled resolve!
As Letty stood amidst the seemingly infinite undead, she licked her lips in anticipation, because she believed her resolve to be infinite.
Letty's pride in her ability to survive stems from the harrowing circumstances she faced in the wake of Eridium's influence. To her, Eridium wasn't merely an empire; it embodied a malevolent force, a superpower that wreaked havoc not just on her life but on countless others across the expansive galaxy. This ominous power, with its pervasive influence, even persuaded her own father to wield the Mandate of Execution against her and her mother.
In the condensed version of her tumultuous tale, Letty and her mother found themselves thrust into a nightmarish existence during the initial years of her life. They became targets, relentlessly hunted down like prey, driven by the astronomical reward placed on their lives. The constant threat forced them into a perpetual state of flight, a life on the run that demanded resilience and cunning.
The turning point came when Letty's mother, wearied by the ceaseless pursuit, made a sacrificial choice. Opting for Letty's safety and securing her daughter's status as a princess, she willingly surrendered herself. This act marked a pivotal moment, one where Letty's survival became not just a personal triumph but a testament to her ability to endure the relentless trials imposed by the galaxy's dark forces. The pride she harbours in her survival is a badge of honour earned through hardship, a resilience forged in the crucible of adversity.
With every clash against the relentless horde of undead, Letty's narcissism intensified. Her hazel eyes gleamed with a prideful confidence, a reflection of the dark divine energy pulsating within her. The more she fought, the more invincible she felt, and the divine power of Narcissus surged through her like an unstoppable tide.
As the dark divine energy of Narcissus flowed through her, Letty became a force to be reckoned with, a necromancer transcending the boundaries of mortality. The smell of lethal authority hung in the air, and Letty, her hazel eyes gleaming with a narcissistic smirk, faced the formidable army of a hundred thousand undead with newfound confidence and unparalleled might. The legacy of Hela was within her grasp, and the dungeon echoed with the resounding power of a necromancer on the brink of ascension.
…
Outside the walls of Tsimikas, present time.
"What is happening to our soldiers?"
"Sir! We have no clue, some of our long-range mages fired on our own men."
"What happened to our vanguard troops?"
"They claim to be lost in some sort of spatial maze and can't escape!"
"What do you mean maze? I can see them in front of me!"
The invading troops from Reinhardt's family were in a complete mess at the moment. The moment they had neared the newly built city walls of Tsimikas, they had started acting odd.
Their troops were acting as if they were on drugs, saying incompressible things. The long-range troops saw their comrades as their enemies while the vanguard troops acted as if they were seeing a completely different environment.
To make matters worse, a large translucent shield covered the entire periphery of Tsimikas. It was a small town, so it was still not that large. It was only 10 kilometres in diameter. Tsimikas was not in a favourable position. It was built on a piece of flat land within a forest. Its walls were its only form of defence, hence attacking it was not a bad decision. Yet a large space-type shield covered it from the outside like a transparent dome. This protection was discovered to even extend underground as well, making it impossible to break through with normal means.
With most of his attacking troops out of commission and with this spatial shield, the attacking general was at a loss. Unfortunately for him, things became worse. An odd light shone from the tall Mage Tower visible from outside the town.
The Mage Tower was the largest structure within the Town and gave one the ability to observe the surroundings for hundreds of miles. The top of the town was opened up, as an ethereal beauty exuding dense divine power floated up from within. Her appearance marked a change in the atmosphere across the entire land, as every single living creature capable of appreciating beauty stopped in its tracks!
The cold gaze of the newly transformed Alice looked at the army beneath her, her voice laced with an uncharacteristic killing intent, "I'm sorry to say this, but none of you are leaving this location. As far as you should be concerned, the ground beneath you shall be your grave!"
