Especially if that enemy was a man with nefarious intentions. The Solitary Sword Sovereign in front of them was related to a Male Frozen Asgard Practitioner, making him even more of an enemy they could never align themselves with.
But they could not resist his charms and found their strong-willed hearts faltering somewhat.
"The deal is simple. I will share three of the resources from the World Boss with you guys. In return, I want you to work for me for a 50-year period of time as my retinue." Said Will after some thought.
The ladies were shocked by his offer, as the terms were simply too good!
They were clear that none of them were worth 3 resources of that level. Yet they were offered such a deal for only being his servant for 50 years?
Although it was humiliating for them, the real consequence would be their sect. If they agreed, they would be abandoning their sect and would become criminals, hunted down by the sect for the rest of their lives.
They also had clans within the sect, and their actions would implicate their family members. The sect had also input many resources and plenty of effort into raising them, hence this would indeed be a betrayal that would reduce their honour.
At first, the girls worried about the consequences of this decision, but Giselle was a bit more focused than the others and wanted to understand the terms of the 50-year service.
"What would you expect us to do?" asked Giselle.

"What I expect you to do is what any loyal soldier would do for their sovereign. I also have no intention of having you perform anything dishonourable. Your job will be to fight for me, collect intelligence and help me grow my organization to the best of your abilities.
After the 50-year tenure, you can choose to remain with me or go your own way, that's up to you. But during your time with me, I will work you to the bone and I expect you to even give your lives in battle for me and my cause if need be. If you aren't willing to accept this deal then it's up to you. You can just die for the sect and clans that love you so much." Will gave them a condescending look as he was making his stance clear. He was giving them an olive branch. It was up to them if they wanted to take it.
The girls looked at each other in confusion for a moment. They were unsure what to do. Will's last words had touched a sore spot they all felt. None of them were important enough within their clans and within the sect.
To their families, they were pawns that could be used at any moment to gain status within worlds run by the Frozen Asgard Sect. They could be married off to male children from higher-ranking families to build alliances, or they could be sent off to become concubines with male cultivators who have suitable bloodlines to produce powerful offspring. The Frozen Asgard Sect looked down upon males, but they were more than happy to give away mid-tier geniuses to other organizations for marriage if they received benefits.
Giselle and the others feared this fate the most. They were too valuable to give independence, but they were not valuable enough to stay within the sect. Hence they were all in a tight spot.

Will walked toward the loot and picked them up one by one, throwing them to the ladies so they could hold them.
The ladies were stunned as they did not expect Will to allow them to touch the items.
'Is he not afraid of us devouring them now?' Lisa wondered.
She quickly cancelled that thought as his attention was brought to the ribbon of multi-coloured light flowing out of Will's Sword. It was now emitting a faint yet oppressive divine might that made her feel insecure. Will seemed to have casually thrown them the fruits, but Lisa's instinct warned her that if she showed any deceptive actions, her head would separate from her body.
