Marcel got out of the shower after calming himself down and quickly got dressed before leaving for the kitchen. He turned on his coffee machine and started making breakfast for both of them. As he was frying up some eggs, Liam walked out of his room already dressed up with his backpack hanging off his back.
"You've packed everything you need?" Marcel asked as he warmed some milk for the boy in the microwave.
"Mmmh," Liam responded and laboriously climbed on the tall bar stool.
"Have some milk first, I'm almost done with breakfast," Marcel said to him as he placed the glass of milk on the countertop in front of him.
"Thank you," Liam said politely and slowly drank the warm milk.
