"Thanks for coming to pick me up," Marcel said to Mark as he went into the van.
"It's no problem," Mark answered as he drove away from Marcel's apartment. Two days had passed since his audition and they confirmed his participation earlier that day. He received a call from Damien earlier that day and was asked to go to the company. That was why Mark was there to pick him up.
He arrived at the company ten minutes later and was relieved to see that there was no crowd outside the building. It seemed like all the popular people were not around that day.
Marcel went to the elevators and went to the top floor. Damien's secretary made eye contact with him the minute he walked into the office.
"He's been waiting for you, you can go in," she said before resuming her work. Marcel knocked on Damien's door and only went in after he heard him respond on the other side.
"Good morning Mr. Matteo," Marcel greeted after closing the door behind him.
