Chapter 41 - Overbearing

Marcel had quickly left the dance studio and gone to the elevator so he would go up to Damien's office.

[He is getting ready to leave the office] Avian said suddenly startling Marcel.

Marcel said and quickly stepped out of the elevator the moment the doors opened. Damien's secretary asked him to wait when he saw him and called Damien to confirm whether he was able to see Marcel. Marcel only heard him say three words with his deep voice.

"Let him in," Damien said before hanging up.

Marcel did not need to be shown into his office any longer. Besides, his secretary looked like she had a lot of things to do. He briefly knocked on the large door and only went in when he heard Damien's voice tell him to.

"Sit," Damien said without waiting for him to say anything. Marcel went and sat on the other side of Damien's desk clearly waiting for him to say something since he had been called to the office.
