"Look at that, you managed to scare to the boy," Kaira said to Elise who was as flustered as everyone else.
Fortunately, Liam got his tears under control quickly and freely wiped them on Marcel's t-shirt.
"Are you okay now?" he asked with a chuckle. He was being used as material to soak up tears since the previous day. He chuckled and patted his head when he felt him nod.
"Are you going to hide the whole time?" Marcel asked Liam when he realised that it didn't look like Liam was going to detach himself from him.
If Liam had the option to hide he definitely would. He had thoroughly embarrassed himself and he was feeling shy to face all those pretty girls that had been staring at him.
Eventually, he came out of hiding but he kept his focus on his hands as he pursed his lips.
"Thank you," Liam said, responding to the compliment that he had received from Elise. When the girls realised why he was saying thank you they really wanted to snatch him away from Marcel.
