It did not take Marcel too long to get back to the orphanage, and once he arrived, he made a beeline to George's office. He had plans for later that day and he did not want to risk not being able to see him before he left.
Once he arrived in front of his office door, Marcel knocked and let himself in before he even received a response from George to come in. George watched as Marcel made himself comfortable in his office.
"I didn't tell you to come in," George said with a frown.
"Do you want me to go out and knock again?" Marcel asked with raised eyebrows as he pointed at the door with his thumb. George silently looked at Marcel because he couldn't think of a good enough comeback.
"What do you want?" George asked.
"I'm leaving tomorrow," Marcel said as he leaned back on the chair that he was sitting on.
"That's a relief' George mumbled under his breath.
"Don't be relieved so soon," Marcel said as he leaned forward and George pulled his hands away from the desk.
