"Marcel Melar," the director said after the assistant director finally managed to go back to his seat. He had even refused Marcel's help because of the lingering fear he still had.
"Yes?" Marcel responded.
"That was an impressive performance," the director said honestly. He didn't know what the producers will decide later on, but he knew that he wanted to have this talented actor in his crew, even if he ended up acting a different role.
"Thank you," Marcel said with a genuine smile that completely softened his face. The writer, who was still digesting his previous performance, fell into a daze once she saw him smiling.
After a short discussion about Marcel's previous work that was still under post-production, Marcel finally left the audition room and found a new face sitting where he had been sitting before.
