Never in my entire life have I imagined being "the other woman". I mean, what kind of sick hag would dream of being the cause of another person's misery?

Right? But I guess life has this knack of making you go through things you despise. Because I met your boyfriend-

I started my new job at this private wholesale and logistics company. Max Solutions.

On my first day the HR assistant toured me to every department and introduced me to everybody. They all seemed friendly. Smiles here and there, courtesies were exchanged and jokes were sent. I am slightly introvert, so I would just awkwardly smile back.

On the last part of the tour, we entered the dimly lit IT room. I noticed the IT department were all males. Automatically, my eyesight shifted to peripheral vision mode. I'm seeing the figures in front of me, I'm looking at them but in a kind of blurred way; I'm looking but I'm not seeing their faces and the details etc. It was my "shy self" on the works.

"Hi, Nina!" one guy behind a PC, enthusiastically greeted me. "Be careful around these guys." he joked.

Then they started teasing and laughing. I just stood there awkwardly.

I noticed one guy in the farthest corner of the room, who wasn't joining in on the cajoling and teasing. He was almost isolated from the rest because he was on a really dark part of the room. Bespectacled long haired guy who looked like he barely smiles.

"And that is Jeth." Miss Maisie, the HR assistant said, pointing at Mr. Mysterious. He barely looked at me.

It was love at first sight!

No. That wasn't your boyfriend. He's the guy I was infatuated with in my whole duration in the company. His closest friend in the department was Jon. The cheerful guy who was making jokes when I came in.

That was him. The guy who would make me even more agnostic about romantic love. Your boyfriend.
