Just like that, a year passed. I saw the forest animals more than my parents. If the forest was my home, and the animals my parents, my actual parents would be the nagging cousins who look for free stuff from us. Every day they would be worries the town would find out about their "secret." It hadn't happened yet.
At my parents house
Today me parents made me stay there. No forest. Separating me from the forest just made me want to be there more. So, when I was stuck inside, I would imagine being in the forest, beside my friend the deer. The image was soo clear in my mind that every hair on the mutated deer was there; no deviation. Then, I opened my eyes, and I saw that mutated deer. It was right before me, just a bit different. It was blue with a seethrough look to it.
"Son?" She said, walking in. "OMG what is that?!? Is that what I think it is? How did you learn that?"
