Several months had passed steadily since the moment when I reached Tier 12.
Aside from informing the Five Elders of the Baator, my fellow sister-wives and Diablo, nobody else knew about this fact, as we planned to make use of it to lure here some hidden enemies of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator.
After some time of working, we managed to establish the position of Chief of Staff of the Imperial Army, who would be overseeing Imperialis Militarum, Navis Imperialis, Commissariat, Execution Temple and Mechanicum.
And, of course, I nominated myself for the position for the time being, though I planned to pass the position to Arthur Pendragon because he is far more suitable for an administrative position like this and is better at the diplomatic approach.
Contrary to my own, which is purely battle-like, his is a combination of an equal amount of diplomacy and violence.
Thus Arthur would be more suitable for the position in the long run, compared to me, while we would need a new Lord Marshall Militant to fill up the vacancy that would be created after Arthur's departure from the post.
And of course, it would need to be someone with very close ties to the Imperial House or from the Imperial House itself... and there were not many suitable candidates for such a thing, aside from...
Vali could go well with a little bit of persuasion.
And just as I was tending to my paperwork, I suddenly felt the Will of the Baator warning me about great danger approaching the Plane.
After Zeo fell to hibernation, before he managed to get the last command as the God of Baator, so I, Venelana and Grayfia could control the Baator to a certain extent.
"Blood Ancestor... so the Bloodkins couldn't hold it anymore."
I muttered while activating all defenses around the Baator to their maximum while getting several of our weapons capable of injuring the Tier 12 entities to the highest alert and to be deployed at my command.
Black Winged Monarch Anduin Kircheisen, the first Pale Blood to be born from the Divine Blood Crystal, which was a supreme natural treasure that was birthed by the Divine Blood Plane itself.
Black Winged Monarch Anduin Kircheisen was born with strength comparable to Tier 8 at his creation.
Within a few months, he apparently achieved Tier 9 and soon enough ascended to the higher Tier without any problems, as the residual power from the Divine Blood Crystal was digested by him.
I looked at the Black Winged Monarch Anduin Kircheisen hovering outside of the Baator, not entering the place, as he, for just a moment, was only observing the Plane.
'So he is either cautious or arrogant of himself... though if we take into consideration the nature of the Blood Races, then it would be the second possibility.'
In truth, Anduin Kircheisen looked... how would one say it... squishy... like some pampered noble. He had soft aristocratic-looking features, regal robes and there was an aura of supremacy and nobility around him.
Though I could see that this man wasn't a warrior... he would probably be some sort of schemer and plotter, one who was using underhanded means of fighting instead of fighting head-on.
Normally, this would be a great disadvantage for anyone like me because even after all those years, the Asgardian sense of honorable fight still prevailed in me. Still, fortunately, my husband was exactly this sort of person, so there were no things that could surprise me during the fight.
"What has brought you here, Anduin?"
I asked the Black Winged Monarch with a provocative smirk as I teleported out of the Baator, directly in front of the Pale Monarch and looked at him. I was still concealing my aura with the help of the Baator, so the Black Winged Monarch had no means of looking through it.
"Shut up, you wench! How dare you be casual to this mighty Monarch of Blood."
And as expected, despite how ancient this fossil was, his ego was equally large to his age, and I knew people like him were easily provoked and tricked.
Ego and pride that was the bane of many mighty men, especially people like Anduin, who ruled in forsaken places like the Astral Boundary unchallenged for countless Eras.
I needed to control my emotions very much, as I wanted to attack him outright, but that would not be suitable now. I needed to get him closer to the Baator so that I could get the suppression effects on Anduin.
"Why not overgrown bat."
I said with a grin, provoking the man even further, and finally, with just two sentences, he lost his calmness as he immediately condensed the wave of the Blood Energy as he sent it towards me, which I easily dodged.
Exactly according to the plan, and in a second, he was near me; I activated the planar suppression from the Baator, as Anduin realized that he was tricked into attacking me.
Despite his outright arrogance, he was a surprisingly sharp person, but it was slate; as I unsealed my power and with full power, I struck him with my Necroswords that were boosted up by the Power of Death.
Instantly he raised a sword condensed from the Blood Energy to block up my attack, only for the sword to crack apart in countless fragments while I continued to attack him furiously.
"Suprise, isn't it, my dead Anduin?"
I grinned as I was using my full power, while Black Winged Monarch Anduin looked pretty much shocked at the revelation that I had reached Tier 12. Of course, never in the history of the Astral Boundary Universe was there a faction with more than one Tier 12 entity at the same time.
"Let me show you that the majesty of Baator isn't something that an overgrown bat like you can challenge."
I said while activating my Godhood, the Black Empress of Death in its full glory as Death Energy danced around us, and green-black flames erupted all around my body.
I looked at the Black Winged Monarch Anduin Kircheisen of the Divine Blood Plane, like a predator looking at its prey.
