One Year Later, Baator, Nessus, Holy Imperial City of Anor Londo, Imperial Palace, Sanctus Imperialis
MC POV
It has been one year since I have returned back to the realms of living how I liked to say it... even though not many things have happened during that time, I was more enjoying my time with my wives as they took vacations from their jobs.
We were spending our time together, mostly through traveling the Astral Boundary Universe through the Baldaquin. We went on our journey through the Astral Boundary Universe; we were mainly only observing various planes and nice spots across the entire Universe.
Across the Astral Boundary Universe, countless nice places and spots attracted powerful people who would go through them sightseeing.
And of course, before we left the Astral Boundary Universe, I took my wives on tour.
Not to mention, for the upcoming centuries, it was decided that I would be participating in the leadership of the Empire, or rather in the projects that the Empire was overseeing right now.
Due to that fact, I knew that I would not have much time to take vacations or anything like that.
And thus, after one year of vacation, we all returned back to the Baator and returned to our day-to-day matters. I was heavily working on the restoration of The Tarot to strengthen the artifact stealthily before I would carry out the ritual to kill the Mercurius.
Because I was technical with my method bypassing the soul protections of the person who had bounded the Tarot Card.
Even if I restored the artifact to a certain degree, I was aware that it wouldn't have any effect on the final result.
In the meantime, I was also slowly working on the fusion between the Law Path and the Godhood Path that I was practicing in order to become something akin to a Law God or whatever, which would be ended in my ascension to Tier 13 and my racial evolution.
The Law Godhood that I envisioned was something peculiar indeed but was still one major problem, which was the fact that my Law Path was stronger than the Godhood because I had only two completely developed Godhoods, namely Father of All Devil and God of Baator.
After my third Godhood will be developed, I could start the process of fusion because that would be the moment when I will achieve the perfect balance between two Power Systems, meaning I could start.
My wives were also getting stronger; unfortunately, no matter how some people progressed, some had their limits. And Vena and Fia were soon to reach their own.
Based on the Soul Aptitude and other circumstances, the limit of both of them was peak Tier 11; unfortunately, they won't be able to reach Tier 12 without outside help.
I knew that even though since Tier 9, we were Ageless because technically speaking, once someone comprehended Law in the Astral Boundary Universe, he would live as long as the Law existed, which existed as long as the Universe existed.
So, here was the problem, when the Universe was destroyed, or the person left the Universe where he achieved the Law Comprehension for too long, he would start aging.
Of course, we have been talking here about unspoken Eras, but still.
That was why the Tier 12 entities, who basically reached above the limits of their Universe in the Law Comprehension speaking, were so invaluable because even if I left the Astral Boundary Universe right now and never returned, I would not die from old age, even till the immemorial.
Unfortunately, right now, even despite all of the efforts and resource-gathering capabilities of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator, we were not able to gather any resources that would be able to help my Vena and Fia.
The most common resources in that aspect were two kinds. One of them could be born or found only in an extremely old and powerful Universe, which the Astral Boundary, of course, wasn't.
And despite my wealth and connections, I would not be capable of buying such things, not like someone who knew of its value would sell it.
The second thing was the kind of resources that were born during the creation of the Universe; these kinds of things were often termed wtih the term "Primordial" because they were born during the time of the creation of the new Universe.
They thus contained the most power and some of the creation energy of the Universe, and due to that reason, they had a very wondrous effect.
I exited my research room as I, locked my workshop and went to the gardens in the Imperial Palace Sanctus Imperialis.
This was the place where Vena was keeping her collection of flora that was collected all across the Endless Void, though most of it originated from the Astral Boundary Universe.
Though, during the past centuries, I have procured for her countless plants, bushes, trees and other flora from other Universe in the Endless Void, mainly through the services of Rot Spinne or Deus Ex Machina.
Some of the plans and trees in this place were extremely priceless and powerful at the same time because there was, for example, another Fuso Divine Tree growing up here, and it was a place where Dou Dou took root and lived and thrived.
When I arrived at the place, I realized that Vena was there and tending the trees and plants, as that was her hobby and she was always here when she wasn't tending to her duties as the CEO of the IMC.
"What is my beautiful wife doing at this time of the day?"
I asked; while I hugged Vena from behind, she just giggled a little and continued feeding the meat-eating plants.
"Currently, feeding the meat-eating plants."
Vena stated as I cringed a little, seeing how greedily the meat-eating plants were devouring the pieces of flesh that Venelana was feeding them. From the looks I could see, these little guys could probably eat even Tier 6 people alive without any trouble.
"Nasty little bastards."
I muttered because the last time one of them bit me... of course, it didn't injure me, but I could feel it and it was rather uncomfortable.
"You are just being mean to the poor creatures."
And, of course, Vena chastised me for that, but she liked all of her collection too much. Most of these plans were not sentient, so I didn't really think too much of them.
After Vena finished feeding the meat-eater plants, we sat down on the ground and just enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere here.
