I was undefeatable under Tier 12 if I used my path, The End, and even to those lofty beings who already forsake any interest in mortal matters, if injured by The End, it could end very badly for them.
Death of the Time Emperor greatly shooks the hearts and minds of all Warlocks, as all of them instantly felt that one of their Emperors was killed; worst on it were the people from the Time Dynasty, as many of them had a mind break seeing their leader being killed.
"Isn't it ironic? The Warlocks despise Gods for how they are worshipped, but warlocks are doing the same to their Emperors... really just killing one of them was enough to cause countless of them to commit suicide as they just cannot bear it... what a deranged path."
In truth, I was shocked at how easily I was able to dispose of 20% of the warlock army just by killing their Warlock Emperor.
For a civilization that conquered countless planes and heavily abhorred Divine Path, even though they often utilized it to save their skins, it was really fascinating how strong their faith in their Warlock Emperor was, that just killing him, I would be able to create Heart Demon in tens of thousands of Warlocks and kill them.
Not something I expected. I initially predicted that their morale would be stronger, but apparently I was very wrong in this.
Though, when you thought about it properly, it wasn't that surprising anymore, as Warlock Emperors were venerated from generation to generation, and we worshipped just like believers worshippers of their Gods.
Countless warlocks of the Warlock Path couldn't imagine that their undefeatable and almighty Warlock Emperors could not only be defeated but also killed.
"Retreat!"
Shouted Taboo Emperor as he managed to break off from the constant attacks of the Darklight Chains of Heaven somehow, and even though he was severely injured by the Chains of Heaven, he immediately took control of the battlefield and ordered a retreat.
He knew that they had fallen into the trap that I had prepared for them, but it was too late, as Time Emperor died an anti-climatic death, as I killed him before he could have the opportunity to use any of his special abilities which would be turning the table for them.
I looked around to see that the 9th Army Yesod Keepers had lost some of its members. Still, those would be resurrected later, so this force was practically intact.
"How are our losses?"
I asked as Lord General Feng Xiu arrived beside me.
"0 from the 9th Army, but we suffered several thousand dead from other branches, including 3 Apocalypse-Classes killed in the siege of warlocks, though they lost even more than us during the combat."
Reported Lord General Feng Xiu, as some losses of lives, were already expected, and probably the Turandot Subcontinent was attacked hardest.
After half an hour, I got reports from the other 3 subcontinents that they had been attacked by the Warlock forces.
Especially in the Kharo Subcontinent, Asura managed to kill the Heavenly Sword Emperor, who returned for revenge, together with the Transcendent Emperor, who lost most of his freaks and sealed creatures he collected through the countless Eras.
This meant that Transcendent Emperor had lost more than 80% of his combat power, as his true strength lay in his sealed creatures, freaks, and other lifeforms he managed to collect, from which some of them at Tier 11 in terms of combat prowess.
Now that Asura had killed most of his freaks and sealed creatures, Transcendent Emperor didn't pose a much higher threat, as his personal power was not that great compared to other Warlock Emperors.
"Ancestor, Warlocks are retreating the Core World. They are completely abandoning the Surface World."
The Voice of someone brought me up from my thought process, as I had already anticipated such an outcome.
At Turandot and Kharo subcontinents, two Warlock Emperors were killed. Diablo managed to cripple Star Emperor to the point of almost reverting him to an ordinary mortal human. At the same time, Hela slaughtered everyone, and only Warlock Emeperos managed to escape together with some Great Step Holy Spirit Warlocks from the Fuso Subcontinent.
Of course, our forces too suffered as aside from the Fuso Subcontinent, where the losses of lives were precisely zero, on the other two Subcontinents our losses numbered in tens of thousands dead, with many of our Tier 8 and Tier 9 powerhouses killed in the fight.
But I knew that the moment Warlocks retreated to the Core World, they lost the fight, and we won.
"Relay orders, march slowly, and secure all major points; for now, the Dawn Pillars' refinement and their integration with the Canghzi Plane is still the top priority. Even though we won the war, we still cannot be careless until the last warlock has been killed. Additionally, I don't know what the reaction of Xuanyuan would be."
The greatest threat during this weren't Warlock Dynasties or the warlocks themselves, but rather their originator, the Warlock Sovereign Xuanyuan, who Khaziklu Bey was currently stalling.
Eternal-ranked Warlock, he was pretty powerful to the point even Weismann stated his power was nothing to scoff at. However, his destructive prowess was relatively low compared to the average standard of Tier 12 across countless cultivation systems and power systems; his survival abilities were top-notch, not to mention Xuanyuan had some weird innate abilities that were troublesome to deal with.
For me, I was very wary that Warlock Sovereign would use some unscrupulous method to dispose of Weismann's efforts to arrive at the Canghzi Plane to save warlocks from extinction.
And thus was the secret purpose of the Dawn Pillars that I installed into them.
While the original purpose of the Dawn Pillars was to obtain partial control over the plane, to allow their user to use some abilities from the World's Will like suppression or boosting aspect, I installed into them a special protocol, that would hijack the consciousness of the World's Will for a brief period of time, to design specified individual as "World's Enemy".
