MC POV
Meanwhile, the siege on the Heavenly Plane and, more importantly, on its Dawn Continent was commencing; as I felt that the Dawn Pillars were destroyed, I continued my duel with the Dawn Lord, as his attacks became even more ferocious and brutal.
Dawn Lord was pushing his Divine Kingdom to its limits, especially after he realized that he was losing the Dawn Pillars and his control over the Heavenly Plane was now basically non-existent, which considerably lowered his combat prowess, as the support of the Primary Grade 2 Plane was nothing to scoff at.
I could see that his Divine Kingdom was full of cracks from the pressure he was putting on it, and his hastily breakthrough and combination with Warlock Emperor cultivation to become some weird aberration didn't really help it.
'I just need to continue defending myself and let him tire out and suffer backslash... which would come very soon, and then killing Dawn Lord would be a pretty easy thing to do.'
I thought, as I continued spawning Nuclear Beams and shooting them in great numbers at the Dawn Lord and his Divine Kingdom, as my strategy was slowly paying off, as his Divine Kingdom was weakening, and even Dawn Lord was getting more and more injured, with each passing wave of attacks.
Because I was tying down the Dawn Lord, forces of the Sunrise Alliance were basically on constant retreat from the Imperial Armies, especially when Hela entered the fright and started wreaking havoc.
As she was a Tier 11 Powerhouse and an extremely powerful one at that, there was practically no one who could stop her until three Great Step Holy Spirit Warlocks unleashed some collective technique that burned her lifeforce, which really boosted up their combat prowess, and they managed to halt Hela's carnage on their forces.
Dawn Lord looked around and saw his forces being killed one by one as defenses of the Heavenly Plane were breached by the Armies of the Baator; the strongest cultivators of the Dawn Imperial Court and Sunrise Alliance were killed by Chthonians, and Dawn Gods were slowly overwhelmed one by one, as they were killed and their Divine Sparks were seized.
He felt an immense rage flowing inside him as he felt that his life work was crumbling down; even though he was immensely arrogant, as any Warlock Emperor, and being influenced by the Power of Faith didn't really help him, he realized that this was a lost cause.
"Damm it!"
Dawn Lord roared in a rage as he mobilized all of his power and projected the power of his Divine Kingdom and his own power to the maximum, as he was creating a massive energy storm directed at me.
Even I could sense the overwhelming power of this attack as his Divine Kingdom started instantly falling apart from the sheet pressure and power the projection was forced to give out.
'This idiot, he will self-implode his Divine Kingdom and take everything with him; aside from powerful Tier 11 beings, everyone else would be pulverized to dust.'
I cursed the Dawn Lord, who lost most of his reason in rage, and decided to use a suicide attack to kill him or most of his forces.
'This is why the majority of gods are fucked up.'
The Power of Faith was influencing their minds, usually causing them to lose most of their personality completely. That was why most of the Gods were temperamental, mentally unstable, and mood swingers.
Power of Faith or Faith was tainted energy that originated from the nature of the energy itself and how it was created. Power of Faith was crystalized energy created by people believing in them, which created a form of energy known as Faith.
Because of this, the energy was tainted by the desires, beliefs, and ideals of people who were praying to God. Thus the God who absorbed the Power of Faith was influenced by the Faith, and slowly but steadily, the Power of Faith will change the mentality and personality of the God, largely based on the image of the believers.
For example, if a large number of believers believe that their God is mad, then the Power of Faith would contain this belief, and slowly the God who was observing this Power of Faith would soon enough fall into madness.
That was why the Godhood I had was extremely precious, as it didn't require the usage of the Power of Faith, and my Godhood could perfectly refine the Power of Faith from all of its taints and use it in its purest form.
In a split of a second, I utilized Decomposition Magic Rule as I shot a wave of the Decomposition Magic Rule, Technique: Gram Demolition, which Demolished Energy Particles.
In a split of a second, when the Gram Demolition came into contact with the Divine Kingdom of the Dawn Lord, a series of explosions sounded from the Divine Kingdom, as it fell into several parts, as Dawn Lord coughed a mouthful of blood.
Subsequently, after the fall of the Divine Kingdom, the energy ball he was condensing to attack me exploded in his hands, as blood splashed a sit took both of his hands and half of his face, leaving the Dawn Lord barely alive, as his cultivation started regressing and Divinity crumbling and falling to the ordinary mortal.
"Fuh... that was a close one."
If I wasn't fast enough, this would have turned ugly.
What Dawn Lord wanted to do would probably destroy a large part of the Chthonian Fleet and killed the majority of our armies that were participating in this.
Fortunately, due to the Decomposition Magic Rule, basically, all energies that I completely analyzed and knew I could neutralize with the Decomposition Magic Rule, so I would practically never lose anyone of the same strength using energy-based attacks.
Of course, close combatants were another matter entirely, but fortunately for me, Dawn Lord was typical Caster Type; he wasn't a close-quarter combatant, as he preferred to fight with Warlock Spells, which made him a spell caster and I was the nemesis of spell casters.
