3rd Person POV
Abemi Plane
Abemi plane was a rather average plane without any specialty or uniqueness to it; perhaps that was the reason why the Dawn Lord chose it to be his secret meeting spot with other Warlock Faction that was not dwelling in the Canghzi Plane.
"Have you heard what happened on the Canghzi Plane in recent time, Great Windrun Holy?"
Asked Argimiro, who had an appearance of a young man in his late twenties, wearing a white-yellowish robe with dragon and sun patterns on it.
"You mean the foreigners?"
Questioned the old white-haired man, who was the Great Windrun Holy from the Wind God Palace.
"Yes, somehow those pests from the Baator managed to sneak into the Canghzi Plane and somehow steal the Fuso Divine Tree, and one of them summoned Father of All Devils in his avatar form, who killed there a Great Step Holy Spirit Warlock in one hit. "
Stated Argimiro, as his two Great Step Holy Spirit Warlock Guardians, frowned hearing this. Among the higher echelons of the Warlock Worlds, it was an open secret that they were too fractured to fight against strong factions, for example, those like Arcanists who were all united or some stronger united foreign species, like Divine Blood Plane or Dragon's Lair.
"Indeed, it is troubling; the Baatorians are becoming exponentially stronger with each decade and each plane that falls into their hands."
Lamenetd Great Windrun Holy.
"Their strategies are flawless, and whoever designed them is tactical and strategical genius, that I must admit."
Said solemly Argimiro.
"Why do you say that, Your Excellency?"
Asked curiously, Great Windrun Holy.
"If you look carefully at the development of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator, you will notice a few things. Firstly, they are behaving like a swarm of grasshoppers or rather like Void Inscests. They find a plane with an abundant resource that is not strong, conquer it and use everything to increase their power; their usage of resources is above the efficiency of even the Dresden Arcanum Empire, and from what I know, through the endless slaughter of natives or rather those without their use, they managed to invent some ritual that allows them to refine soul into the energy crystals. Secondly, they know how to lay low and avoid trouble. They purposely chose the planes and places to attack and conquer; they knew nobody would notice, meaning they were preserving and increasing their strength. Thirdly, even though the Empire had overwhelming military power, they preferred to use strategy, subterfuge, and other methods to weaken their opponents as much as possible before a direct confrontation. Fourthly, their rigorous meritocratic and military society, from what we gathered, created generations of excellent warriors, magicians, and other professions, and their nobility, compared to ours, are the most battle-hardened and most powerful powerhouses in the Empire."
The Intelligence network of the Warlock Imperial Courts was frightening, but even they didn't manage to obtain a lot of info on the Chthonian Empire of the Baator and only had some surface information.
"They are indeed troubling concerns. Unfortunately, with their fast development, without a united Warlock Front, we would be just targets too ripe for them. As long as his Majesty decides to integrate himself into our matters completely..."
Said Great Windrun Holy, as suddenly, he had some bad promotion.
"We are under attack. The outer protective spell formation has been breached."
Two Great Step Holy Spirit Warlocks standing beside Argimiro were immediately alerted as they were deciding on what to do.
But unfortunately for them, before they could decide what to the, suddenly an entire building started shaking, as crimson-black energy started disintegrating everything in its path as if it never existed.
'Law of Destruction.'
Thought Argimiro as he saw that violent energy approaching them, obliterating everything in its path.
A pure white battle armor engraved with countless runes of dawn suddenly emerged and covered him, and a staff exuding resplendent light suddenly appeared and entered his hand.
These were two Holy-Grade Artifacts, Battle Armor of Dawn and Staff of Dawn.
While Argimiro was only a Quasi-Holy, he was still a reincarnation of the Dawn Lord, so even with his low strength, he could use these two artifacts to around 50% of their power, which was already a lot for his current capabilities.
At the moment he took out his two Artifacts, suddenly the Great Sunforge Holy was hit with an enormous star-like object conjured from the Destruction Energy, and it sent him flying several tens of meters back.
Similarly, the Great Sunrise Holy was being bombarded by the Ice Spears created from the Law of Ice and imbued with the Law of Annihilation.
Argimiro could see two women that appeared were clad in top-notch Holy-Grade Equipment that was not inferior to his own Battle Armor of Dawn, and by sensing their unique energy, he realized that those were Devils.
'They should be the wives of the Father of All Devils... with his overprotective nature as rumors said, he should be near... I need to escape.'
Argimiro instantly decided to escape, leaving all of his subordinates to his fate.
He was very well aware that it would be hard to survive against an elite Dimensional-Class powerhouse that had nearly realized its path in his current state. Not to mention that Father of All Devils was far stronger than his form from before the reincarnation, during his peak.
As he took out a special teleportation artifact from his interspatial ring, suddenly, he felt an intense pain on his back, as he found himself to be stuck in the nearby wall from the powerful kick from behind.
"How the mighty has fallen, don't you agree, Dawn?"
Sounded a voice filled with malice, viciousness, and bloodthirsty; Argmiro could hear footsteps approaching him as he quickly got onto his legs and got into the combat stance.
Black hair with streaks of red and gold, as well as golden eyes, appeared out of the darkness as they faced the reincarnation of the Dawn Lord.
