Chapter 354 - Final Siege of Noscent

"Dun, dun, dun... things are progressing steadily."

I muttered to myself as I ended the call with Sirzechs.

Warlock Faction was one of the strongest at the Astral Boundary, with the deepest foundation, and controlled one of the few Grade 1 Planes in the Astral Boundary. Thus, they became my target to devour them and absorb their resources and power.

Especially devouring the entire Canghzi Plane would evolve Baator to the Grade 1 Plane. In the end, it would be some kind of starting point for me to become truly a hegemon on the scale of the Void. From the perspective of these facts, the Jihad against the Warlocks was necessary thing for the Chthonian Empire to thrive in the long term.

Additionally, another Jihad would be beneficial for the Empire, as it would create another wave of internal unity against a new enemy. After Rias was appointed as the Ecclesiarch of the Ecclesiarchy, she did a splendid job of spreading my religion and brainwashing a heavy majority of the population into blind and undying loyalty to the Father of All Devils.

She took it to another level, and apparently, my Faith is greatly spread even in other Universes that are rather weak or in some sealed dimensions that we happened to stumble upon. All of this created a nice endless stream of Faith, which was nicely refined by my godhood and increased my strength.

Of course, all of this was only possible due to the special nature of the Godhood Method that Rot Spinne brought to me. Ironically though, I long ago suspected that this Godhood Method was created by one of the "Three".

Nobody else wouldn't be able to create such a method from scratch.

In a place where Tier 11 Powerhouses were everywhere, my current strength level was nothing. Countless people with the same Tier roamed the Void, as Tier 11 was something like the lowest level of strength to enter the Void.

The entire Void was filled with strong people, either at Tier 12 or Tier 13, who searched for opportunities to ascend as Paragons or upgrade their strength. Of course, my own goal was more ambitious.

To become a Singularity.

From the existence of everything, only three people managed to become Singularity.

Fundamentally, Singularities were true rulers of the Void, unchallenged, unkillable, and truly Immortal entities.

"Now is not the time to think about the far, far future... the Jihad is coming."

I muttered as I stood from the bed and went to find Hela to tell her to end the thing. Last time, I told Hela to speed up the entire thing, and it was coming out nicely as we were nearing the Captial City of the Sacred Millenial Empire, as our legions crushed all opposition and slaughtered their way through the Noscent Plane.

Obviously, the natives could not defend properly when the forces of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator started getting serious and were fighting to their fullest, so it was reasonable that our forces would soon reach the capital city of the natives.

Also, during the conquest, another three Transcendental Level powerhouses were killed by Hela, as some of them tried to attack our armies from the shadows; unfortunately for them, none of them were a match for my wife, especially when she got angry.

Even Vena killed one Transcendental Level powerhouse when she was ambushed; the one she killed was, in truth, affiliated with the Sacred Millenianl Empire and was one of the servants of the Emperor, Charles the Great.

His own personal assassin. Before Vena killed him, she, of course, extracted a lot of memories from his soul before it dissipated.

"So, how is the final push going?"

I asked my wife as I exited the teleportation circle and enveloped Hela in a big hug. Normally, she would push me back as we were in public, but this time, for whatever reason, she let me hug her in public.

"Not good. The Imperial Capital is surprisingly very well fortified, probably on par with our major cities. However, the level here is not far from the Capital of the Floors. We need more time to prepare everything to breach the fortifications without destroying the large part of the city."

Stated Hela solemnly as I nodded.

If the Imperial Capital is warded like our major cities, then this will take some time. Of course, there was still the possibility of me storming the city, but that would destroy the majority of it, and that is something we need to prevent.

Destroying the city means wasting the valuable resources that we can obtain.

"Don't worry; nobody will escape. I surrounded the entire city in an impenetrable 7-layer defense barrier, and we laid down anti-teleportation wards around the entire place. Additionally, we did deep scans of the place and blocked all underground tunnels and other escape routes from the Imperial City of the Sacred Millenial Empire. All those who are in that city are trapped there... waiting to be butchered one by one."

Said Hela, and I swore I could see she was getting excited about the upcoming slaughter.

'Some things never change.'

I sighed mentally, but alas, at least her intentions and fetishes are directed at our enemies and are bringing benefits to the Empire.

"We enough time for this... just leave none alive; we are aiming for the ghost town, of course."

I said with a bloody grin as I gave my final orders before I departed to the Captial Ship to watch the show unfolding.
