Chapter 351 - Consequences

MC POV

Noscent Plane.

After my avatar was dispersed, my main consciousness returned back, never really getting used to the feeling of having my consciousness split up like that...

As I started pondering about our next moves because the political landscape has changed drastically just in a very short time, and many of our plans needed to be adjusted.

The early emergence of the Six Warlock Imperial Courts was not welcomed. Right now, the Canghzi Plane was utterly inaccessible for Baatorians. The Six Warlock Imperial Courts were watching everything like hawks, so there was not much space to exploit for us.

Especially right now, after they forced us to retreat from the Canghzi Plane, they would be extra vigilant about the happenings on their home turf.

While I have reached Tier 11, the collective strength of the Six surviving Warlock Dynasties was nothing to scoff at, especially when their Warlock Emperors recovered. Currently, Warlocks were the greatest threat to the Baator, as they were eyeing the Desolate Star Region as their expansion for resources, as the Star Region lacked Tier 12 Powerhouse to preside over it.

'Warlock Sovereign is still indisposed, but if Weissmann makes a move, then he would appear as well, and we are back at the deadlock. The only possible choice is to swallow them, without the help of anyone of Tier 12, and trap Warlock Sovereign, and kill him together with Weissmann... yes... that could work.'

I thought as I walked over in circles in my room at the fortress.

After some time, I decided to go and check up on Hela and the progress of the crusade against the inhabitants of the Noscnet Plane.

I wanted this entire thing finished as soon as possible, so the Chthonian Empire could begin absorbing the benefits from the conquest, especially the resources left by the pinnacle Tier 12 Powerhouse who created this place.

Our armies had already started advancing on the territories of the Sacred Millenial Empire, and slowly they were slaughtering their armies and civilians.

It was apparent that the purge was going very well, especially dragons who enjoyed it too much, looking at the state of cities where the Draco Aetherna Army passed by.

Dragons were naturally destructive in their means of combat, and they tended to destroy everything in their path. At the same time, some of that was part of their nature; most did it just because of shits and giggles, as they just loved destroying things here and there.

Not to mention, Noscnet was a place where many of the Elves and Dragons previously ruled until they were overthrown by humans and hunted almost to extinction, so in a certain sense, those who experienced those times or were just angry at such thoughts were wanting their frustration here.

"Hela, how is your progress?"

I asked my wife as I hugged her waist.

"It's going well... we have absorbed all secondary territories of the Sacred Millenial Empire and independent states. Right now, we are drafting a plan on how to invade the main territory of Sacred Millenial Empire."

Summarized Hela as I was rather satisfied with the progress, even though it could be faster. When we were at war, and especially the one she was leading, she was always the happiest person in the world, which was something appreciated, especially in the evenings.

"And the vault?"

"Right now, we finished categorization of things located there and transported highly-prioritized things back to the Empire, so people who are nearing the breakthrough to the Tier 11 can achieve it faster."

Answered Hela as I nodded in agreement.

"Good. We need to have at least 4 or 5 Tier 11 Powerhouses before we can invade Canghzi Plane at full force. Also, before that, we need to find the Plane where the Dawn Lord has been reincarnated and where he has been keeping his God Avatar."

I stated for the next course of things.

In the end, as predicted, the natives, even if they were more powerful, were slowly losing due to their inferior equipment. If their rulers chose to share even a bit from the vault they found, this battle wouldn't be so one-sided at all.

But apparently, the politics were at play, and their ruler Charles the Great, had made many enemies, so he probably chose to conceal the fact he found Inheritance Vault. If you ask me, a relatively short sighed move, but I can understand it at least partially.

They were in a position where they were unaware of the extraterrestrial threats, as the Sealed Planes are very tough nuts to crack. If not for the Empire's superior Arcanotech and Magical knowledge, it would be almost impossible to break through the barrier, find a weak point, and expand it to enough size for an entire invasion force to enter.

"Tell your generals and Lord Generals to stop holding back and push through the full force. Stop playing with them and finish the invasion as soon as possible."

I stated grimly, as there was no need to pursue this thing this far. Up until now, all Lord Generals of the Armies and Generals of Legions were fighting while testing various strategies and other things, in preparation for battles with enemies on the same level.

Additionally, none of them used too destructive means and such.

Now, this was going to the end.
