"What is your plan, Ancestor Lucifer? Should I contact Weismann?"
Asked Magister Yatogami Kuroh as he looked at me. Among all of the retainers of the Exarch Arcanist Adolf K. Weismann, Yatogami Kuroh is the only one who could be casual with him.
"That is not necessary. I will show you the might of the Arcanotech of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator."
I said lightly as I turned my voice to the incoming aura belonging to the Time Emperor. He was really strong, probably far stronger than even Irtarr's True Body, without the support of his Divine Kingdom. Thought that was to be expected as he was the first in the line of the Warlock Emperors that emerged from the Warlock Path and the Canghzi Plane as whole.
"What has brought his Imperil Majesty Time Emperor to the humble plane of the Baator?"
I asked as I gave him a provocative bow.
I liked mocking and provoking my opponents if possible; people were prone to anger and irrational decisions while fighting then.
"Another of your kind has risen."
Said Time Emperor with an overwhelming presence while he looked at the Magister Yatogami Kuroh. Time Emperor looked at both of us with immense hatred and abhorrence; as Warlock Emperor, he had a great deal of hatred for Arcanists.
Seeing that another species rose to power, following the same path as the most hated Arcanists, was a great deal for Warlocks as a whole. Members of both of Paths hated each other too much, and it was inevitable that they would fight to death.
Mainly because the game has changed.
"Such unfortunate event for Warlocks, and fortunate event for everybody else."
I said with a slight smile as the silhouette of the Time Emperor came into my vision.
He looked rather ordinary in his facial features, but he was handsome in some sense. He had very long pitch-black hair flowing to his back. He wore a typical robe of the Time Dynasty with its symbols; it was Empyrean-Grade Artifact just by looking.
I was slightly disappointed that the Time Emperor didn't fall for my tricks, but that was expected. He was Warlock Emperor and Emperor of the Time Dynasty, so his self-discipline was astounding.
Suddenly out of nowhere, an enormous energy beam hit the Time Emperor and sent him flying deep into space.
Seconds after, the intimidating Phalanx-Class Space Fortress revealed itself.
It had the size of a small moon or large asteroid; its foredeck alone could dock a dozen Imperial Navy cruisers around its circumference. The hull of the starship was many kilometers long, triangular in cross-section with its upper surface bristling with weapons and sensorium domes. Two wings swept back from the hull, trailing directional vanes like long, gilded feathers. Every surface was clad in solid armor plating, and every angle was covered by more torpedo tubes and Lance batteries than any Imperial battleship could muster.
"This is..."
Muttered Magister Arcanist Yatogami Kuroh in astonishment.
"Phalanx-Class Space Fortress. So far, it is the greatest wonder of the Arcanotechnology that the Chthonian Empire has built. Its full power output is able to obliterate even Warlock Emperors to the dust. The only downside for them is the amount and type of resources required to build even one."
I said with pride.
Phalanx was an absolute monstrosity that we built, and it was the reason why I was confident of defending against Tier 11 Powerhouses who would attack Baator. It was my secret weapon that I prepared in case someone like that would dare to attack the Baator.
Soon enough, after several seconds, the Phalanx-Class Space Fortress fired once more at the Time Emperor, who showed only some superficial injuries. This time, Phalanx-Class Space Fortress fired with even more power, which still wasn't its maximum.
After the second hit, Time Emperor appeared to be injured more severely compared to the first hit, as even his Empyrean-Grade Robe showed slight cracks.
Instantly the third hit came; this time, it was full power of the Phalanx-Class Space Fortress as I used the entire might of the Baator as it hit the Time Emperor, who slashed his sword.
Unfortunately for the Time Emperor, he didn't recover completely, and this attack was so overwhelming and powerful that he was sent flying after his Empyrean-Grade Robe cracked, and he coughed a huge amount of blood.
After he fell into the black hole near the Baator, I knew that he was banished. I knew that his injuries were severe while he maintained his image in front of us.
Not only due to the enormous firepower of the Phalanx-Class Space Fortress but also because I let him enter the Baator; immediately afterward, the Planar Suppression fell onto him in full force.
"We were lucky."
I noted, as it was the truth. Still, alas, the mission was successful as I managed to severely injure one of their Warlock Emperors, once again restricting the possibility of their movements.
There were several factors in this outcome. First was the moment of surprise as the Phalanx-Class Space Fortress attacked the Time Emperor when he was talking to us; this happened only because I used Baator's Will to cover up the entire Phalanx-Class Space Fortress so the Time Emperor won't notice its presence.
The second one, probably the most important factor, was that the Time Emperor didn't completely recover. I could see that he was still recovered only till around half of his power, but even that was enough, as even with that much power, he could suppress the majority of Warlocks under the Warlock Emperor Level.
"Lord General Behemoth, leave the Phalanx-Class Space Fortress stationed here for some time in case if he returns for more severe injuries. Afterward, send it back to the Nessus."
I gave an order to the Lord General Behemoth, who teleported to my side for additional orders.
