Chapter 328 - Incomming Danger and Opportunity

After the meeting of the Senatorum Imperialis concluded, I went together with Sirzechs to meet Patriarch Villentretenmerth and Patriarch Windrunner.

Patriarch Villentretenmerth was almost two meters high, a middle-aged man with short golden hair, a well-groomed golden beard, and golden eyes with reptile pupils.

Patriarch Windrunner looked like a typical Silvermoon Elf, with long blond hair and long pointy ears, and he maintained youthful looks.

The meeting took place in the solar in the Imperial Palace, where Patriarchs of two species from the already waiting for us.

Aside from those two, there was also an additional person waiting with them, and that was the daughter of the Patriarch Windrunner, Sylvanas Windrunner. She looked breathtaking, befitting her status as a Princess of Silvermoon Elves.

When I saw Sylvanas, my brows twitched in annoyance as I instantly realized why she was there. Basically, her father was trying to set me up with his daughter for more than two hundred years, mainly to secure a more prosperous and stronger position within the Empire.

Especially after the daughter of Villentretenmerth, Seasenthessis married the firstborn son of Crom Cruach and Tiamat. This sparked a new wave of rivalry between Windrunner and Villentretenmerth. It was an act that raised the status of the Three-Headed Golden Dragon Tribe to new highs.

"Your Imperial Majesty, Ancestor."

All three of them bowed slightly as Sirzechs singled them to sit down, as we all sat down around the table.

"Now, at the meeting of the Senatorum Imperialis, it was decided that Chthonian Empire will invade Noscent Plane; of course, this is under the presumption person who created your previous home and sealed it to prevent the anger of Eternal for destroying his experiment."

Stated Sirzechs, as both Patriarchs took his word.

Meanwhile, when Sirzechs was discussing some minor things with them, I contacted Mercurius as he was most knowledgeable in these matters. I asked him about this plane, and as I predicted, he knew who created this plane and sealed it.

The person who created it was named Ashan, he was ironically killed by Mercurious himself a long time ago, so Noscent Plane was free to go and conquer. Ashan was a powerhouse from ancient times of the Astral Boundary, even before Mercurius became Half-Step Tier 13.

He created Noscent as means of creating a new form of Divine Cultivation System, so he could fuse it together with his current path and ascend as a Tier 13 Entity. Unfortunately for Ashan, his research came to the interest of Mercurius, who ambushed him and killed him.

"It is safe."

I said mildly, as both Verath Windrunner and Villentretenmerth showed a dangerous glint in their eyes as they saw the possibility of revenge against the humans who overthrew them and slaughtered countless of their species.

"We are able to deploy for the conquest 6th Army of the Imperialis Militarum Draco Aeterna and 8th Army Silver Rangers. Noscent Plane should have some really strong people slumbering there, right?"

Asked Sirzechs.

"Indeed. While the Ascian Dynasty of Ancient Gods has fallen, we have long suspected that many of them are still alive, even though they are in slumber."

Stated Patriarch Villentretenmerth.

The Power System in the Noscent Plane was a place where the main path lay in magic and its mages. Starting from the Mage Apprentice (Tier 1), Mage Level 1 - 9 (Tier 2), Great Mage Level 10 - 19 (Tier 3), High Mage Level 20 - 29 (Tier 4), Archmage Level 30 - 39 (Tier 5 and Tier 6), Heaven Mage Level 40 - 49 (Tier 8).

Above Heaven Level was Deity Level 50 - 59, which was comparable to Tier 9, and the strongest beings were titled Transcendentals, who had the power of Tier 10.

Apparently, based on information provided by two Patriarchs, Noscent Plane has several Transcendentals and an entire bunch of Deities who should still be alive.

This means that the Chthonian Empire would need to send some of its Tier 10 Powerhouses for the invasion.

Ironically weaker Universes have more diverse power systems, as they have more of them compared to the stronger Universe, which already has Divine Thrones and a more significant number of Great Old Ones.

The reason for that was, or instead were, Tier 12 Powerhouses who searched the way to advance even further. This practice was somewhat necessary for strong Universes as they already have perfected paths.

"Now, we need to prepare for the conquest. This one will be the most brutal and hardest fight that the Chthonian Empire has ever experienced. If it is successful, our strength could soar in leaps and bounds and will be perfect preparations for our clash with Warlock Dynasties when they awake."

I stated as everyone nodded grimly, hearing that.

"How many interconnected planes are there with Noscent Plane?"

Asked Sirzechs after a while.

Noscent Plane was one of the rare ones, which has several tens of interconnected planes for it. It is clear that the person who created Noscent was planning to develop it to extreme limits, so he prepared countless other planes and sealed them together with the Noscent, so inhabitants of the Noscent could initiate planar wars and plunder the resources of weaker planes to strengthen themselves, fastening the growth of its inhabitants.

In truth, this was a pretty smart move because, without special artifacts, it was almost impossible to leave sealed planes. If not for Silvermoon Elves and Three-Headed Golden Dragon Tribe finding one of the research site of the Eternal, where a such artifact was concurrent, they wouldn't have escaped from the Noscnet at all.

"Based on our information, there should be around sixty or so... the precise number is hard to determine, as some have already been destroyed during the 1st Era of the Noscent Plane by Ancient Gods who tried to escape the Noscent and reach Astral Boundary."

Answered Patriarch Villentretenmerth.
