"Young Miss Yu, it seems you do not understand the real meaning of the word bastard," the journalist laughed happily when he saw that she was so riled up.
"Those two children were born while their parents were married. Hence they are not bastards. Instead, they are their direct line of descendants. You, on the other hand, are born out of wedlock, you are an illegitimate child. Even though your parents are married now, it does not change the fact that when you were born, you were the child of a mistress.
"Yu Jingshen's current wife, Xiao Hualing, your mother, has three children. All three of you seem to be the children of Yu Jingshen, and all three of you are illegitimate children, bastards, so to say!
"The fact that he has claimed you all to be adopted children throughout the years proves his intention quite well.
"He would only acknowledge you now, because of this rumor, but if it did not happen, you would forever be known as his adopted daughter, because he knows deep inside that, as long as he acknowledges your existence, he becomes a scum in the eyes of society!"
Yu Jingshen was aware of this, even Yu Changying was mindful of this, but Yu Bingqing was making things even worse by her outburst.
By now, it would be impossible for Yu Jingshen to turn it around; the ruthless words of Yu Bingqing would make it very hard for him to maintain his reputation.
Fortunately, he was a famous name within the industry, and he knew that his current dilemma could not be solved with the solution he had planned first, then he could only use another plan.
As the press conference ended, the journalists hurried home to write their articles.
At the same time, Yu Jingshen and Yu Changying began planning a new explosive piece of news that would take over the news outlets, and then they would forget about the story concerning Yu Jingshen.
Although it would take some time for him to be able to make a complete comeback, many would forget about this embarrassing situation, and he would eventually be fine.
Yu Changying was aware of this as well, and together father and son worked well and found some information they had gathered for a purpose like this.
Soon the news about Yu Jingshen was published, and it caused a public outrage amongst the people who read it. Still, moments after, another shocking piece of news spread about how an actor had been forcing himself on other actors in return for sharing his resources with them.
The news about Yu Jingshen soon was flooded by the water army that Yu Changying had bought, and like this, Yu Jingshen got through it, albeit he had suffered a loss.
Although he had successfully diverted the attention, many people knew of the matter, and they had not forgotten it, they had just put it at the back of their minds.
Yu Huiyin was at home, turning off the tv, and feeling partly happy but also somewhat saddened, she could not help but sigh.
She was already aware that he would try to put the blame onto Han Yunfeng, but she was happy that the journalist had turned it around.
She was still enjoying seeing Yu Jingshen's expression alternate between being red, purple, white, and blue.
Unknown to Yu Huiyin, Xie Jingyu had been seated in the office and observed the same press conference. He was very pleased with the person who had spoken out and caused Yu Jingshen to be in a tight spot. He had done a brilliant job.
Truthfully, Xie Jingyu could easily pay to make sure that the news of Yu Jingshen would stay at the top of the hot topics online, but he was not willing to do so.
This was just a slight punishment for Yu Jingshen to have made his woman sad. He was not going to go into an all-out war with Yu Jingshen yet, nor was he going to punish him for real, as it was Yu Huiyin who wanted to take her revenge personally.
He was just willing to vent for her briefly. If he genuinely pulled out his might, Yu Jingshen would have no chance of survival.
Smiling happily, Xie Jingyu returned to continue his work. He had taken a long break for the sake of observing the press conference, but he was a busy man, he could not delay much longer.
He had a meeting with the various departments only ten minutes later, so he was reading through the documents, but although he was in a hurry, he was not feeling stressed or regretful for watching the conference. Everything he did for Yu Huiyin was something he felt was worth it.
Seeing that Xie Jingyu did not return for dinner, Yu Huiyin ate dinner on her own, before she went to wash and went to bed, continuing to read up on different topics where she might engage in business later.
Yu Huiyin had no prior experience with starting a business, but this did not deject her.
It was late at night when Xie Jingyu came back home. He saw that Yu Huiyin was lying on the bed, a notebook on the bedside table, and her phone in her hand within the bed.
He sniffed his sleeves and could smell the scent of alcohol. He had been at a dinner party to discuss business, but it had taken a longer time than he had expected.
When he finally came home, he was slightly drunk, his clothes and himself were smelling of alcohol, and he was feeling uncomfortable.
He hurried to take a bath, after which he sunk into the bed. His eyes landed on Yu Huiyin's face, and a hint of lust appeared in his eyes, but he quickly suppressed it. He could not do anything she did not approve of just because he was drunk.
