"It's called [Earth core]. It can absorb the fire element of mageforce from the lava pool. Then, it turns into energy for our production tools that are distributed by those tubes." said Barbas proudly
Usually, in the dwarf community they use steam or underwater systems to power their tools. However, it has very low efficiency and uses a lot of resources. On the contrary, [Earth core] can provide sustainable energy for the whole Silvanbor's production tools.
However, the energy conversion rate is still low that makes the energy produced in low quantity and quality. Still by combining it with the steam and water system power, Silvanbor production rate can increase by two times.
If this technology spread across the Hirth, maybe people will go into the industrial revolution era. But, Josep doesn't intend to spread this tech yet since he still needs to monopolize it first.
Now, he thinks about upgrading [earth core] many times better than before. Actually, the moment he knew about [earth core] through Alice's 3D map.
He knew that this would be his greatest bargained card. He ordered Alice to make a deep analysis about it. Using her help, he created an improved version of the rune in [earth core].
But, after looking at the [earth core] himself and its environment, he thought of many ways to upgrade it. He begins hundreds of simulations to upgrade [earth core] inside his head. Finally, he chooses the best way to upgrade [earth core] with the least effort.
"Tell the others that the energy supply will be stopped by for dozens of minutes. Also don't disturb me during the time I upgrade it." [Josep]
Before Barbas could respond, Josep jumped toward [earth core]. He gathers his mageforce in his fist and releases it toward [earth core]. *BANG* The gigantic metal core begins to shine and reveal the hidden rune. The rune shines brightly with many intricate patterns.
"Alice, use my mageforce to rewrite [earth core] rune." [Josep] as he ordered silently and cast [float], 3 star-spell, towards himself.
The rune pattern comes out from the gigantic metal ball and arrives in front of Josep. Using his fast movement speed, he changes the rune until it becomes more complicated in the air.
For normal people, all they can see is the rune becoming some kind of scribble without any meaning. However, each of these scribble lines contain hundreds of small runes in old tongue language.
Few moments later, he finishes rewriting runes and pushes it back into the gigantic metal ball. The metal ball shines brightly and works like before. Then, a tremor occurred. The bubbling lava pools also start to erupt wildly.
Looking at this phenomena, Josep frowned with serious expression since this unexpected event is not in his calculation. He looks at the lava pools for a moment before jumping into it. The two dwarfs nearby stopped him before he was already inside the lava pools.
Even for their high resistance toward fire, dwarf race still will get burned when they are going into the lava pool without any protection.
As for human, it was simply suicide. The two dwarfs don't know what to do since they also can't go inside the boiling lava too.
Inside the lava pool, Josep sweeps through hot mud and dirt which become hotter the deeper he gets. Fortunately, his super soldier body makes him easily penetrate the hot liquefied mineral without being burned.
After few hundred meters deep down, he found a huge surge of fire mageforce from the bellow.
"Warning!! Incoming huge energy with potential threat!!?" [Alice]
"Tch!!?" [Josep] he covers his body with aura and makes it shiny black along with mageforce. The fire mageforce begin to pressurize his black colored body.
Because of it, he can't go into the deeper part. Moreover, Alice [scan] also cannot penetrate this part. All he sees only a huge dark red area filled with magma.
The fire mageforce becomes more wild. if he let it be the silver mountain would erupt in any moment and kill all the Silvanbor's residence.
Although, he didn't care about them but they are his potential gold mine for him. He can't let them die without producing some money for him first.
He frantically searches for a method to stop this wild nature fire mageforce while his dark colored skin begins to fade slowly. Despite all the training he did inside his time dimension, He can only maintain this state in a few minutes before exhausted.
Pondering what to do, he notices the reinforced metal tube still anchored on the deep part of the lava pool though it begins corroded by the fire mageforce nearby. Suddenly, he gets an idea. He went up to the surface of the lava pool.
As he arrived back at the cave, he found that the cave's temperature increased rapidly. It begins to slowly ignite the cave wall into molten stone bit by bit. Looking at this change he knows that he doesn't have much time left. He immediately [float] toward the [earth core].
For the two dwarf, they already can handle the temperature anymore and back into the tunnel. After series of debating, they decide to seal the tunnel to prevent the wildfire mageforce come toward Silvanbor residence.
Inside the cave, Josep works with Alice to rewrite the rune inside [earth core] while the cave temperature rises rapidly. It also melts [earth core] slowly and causes some part of it malfunction. This also became a big hurdle for Josep to finish his rune.
After a series of calculations, "Master, there is not enough time. [earth core] will melt down completely in 2 minute. We should get away from it before it can explode during that moment." [Alice] in a serious tone.
"Damn it… not enough time!!? If I can somehow cool down the temperature, it will calm down this wildfire megaforce temporary." [Josep]
"!!!?? I guess I only give it a try. I hope it will be success" [Josep]
Then, he cast [Earth power], a 6-star spell, to create a strong foothold for him. *GRRMMM* A huge chunk of ground appears from the nearby cave wall. It makes a sort of cliff with the edge near the [earth core].
Josep landed on the top of it. He summons his fire dimension entrance to absorb the fire mageforce nearby. He also opens his water dimension to borrow its water element before drawing a huge spell diagram.
Because of his fire dimension, the temperature begins to stagnate to buy him time. Then, he cast a 7-star spell [Blizzard].
The cave engulfs by chilling white air that contains water element mageforce. *WOHHZZZ* It manages to cool down the hot temperature cave for a bit.
Normally, he needs ten times more mageforce to cast this spell in such an environment. But, by borrowing a water element from his dimension he can cast [blizzard] with any hassle. Without delay, he continues to write [earth core] rune.
Not a second later, he blew up from the sudden surge of fire mageforce from the lava pool below. He ended up crashing into the cave's wall. He feels a burn from his skin.
Fortunately, he managed to cover his body with aura in time. Otherwise even with his super soldier body, he will be turning into a drying corpse.
The fire mageforce keep erupting from the lava pool and prevent Josep to going near [earth core]. The fire mageforce become like a tidal of storm that slowly roasted [earth core] and its rune.
"Alice!! Active the S suite!!?" [Josep]
After ordering Alice, a metallic substance begins to cover him from his heart toward all part of his body. In less than a second, his body was covered by dark bluish metallic color.
His body becomes a sort of futuristic armored robot with slim fit design. (A.N: Look at the novel cover for reference)
At this moment, he already turns into his adult form. Using his strength, he shoves into the fire storm leaving behind a huge crack every time he steps on the ground. He manages to arrive at the rune and works quickly with it.
Finally, he finishes the rune. But before he can activate it, the fire storm moves more wildly and targets especially towards him.
The fire storm is like alive and want to destroy its intruders. Since Josep completely focus and thrust his armor, he got knocked back by the fire storm directly without any fight.
Fortunately, his armor that made of [Immortal] substance managed to protect him from being burned alive. Still he can push forward to get near the runes even with his full strength.
He can't even take a step forward. All he can do is look at the fire storm slowly melting down [earth core] with his rune.
"Damn it!! You force me into this. Alice… Emergency mode!!" [Josep] his body begins to thinner at a fast rate. All of a sudden inside the cave, everything freezes even the time itself feels like it stops moving.
During this precarious moment, Josep says [Chill].
