Chapter 1 - The beginning

London- 2019

In one of the most luxurious buildings in the center of London a tall, imposing, man with jet black hair and grey eyes, in his mid-thirties, sat opposite a pathetic excuse of man trembling at the thought of being fired, the imposing man's job was simple, to rid the company of those deemed redundant and to preserve the prestige of the company.

"I can't be fired... please... give me another chance, I... I need this job how else can I support my family" his voice was trembling and his green eyes tearing up, his fat face and absurd hair shaking brought a sadistic smirk on the others face, quickly dispersing before saying :

"...not only have you failed to turn up at work but on several occasions, you have not been able to complete work by the deadline. So I ask you this why should this company continue to employ you when you can't keep up with our standards? " as the cold man hands the other a resignation letter, to allow him to have some dignity, the workday ends and he leaves, he refused to be in the same room as someone who is inferior to him.

"Our company thanks you for your years of service and so we are giving you a chance to keep your dignity and instead quit." he paused for a moment before handing the worm a prewritten letter of resignation "...I suggest you take this opportunity so you do not lose any further work." with a cold gaze the pathetic man backed down and took it before leaving the office and returning to his desk to pack up his things.

This cold man was hard-working and highly respected among the hierarchy of the company. However he also was twisted, he had many personality issues and was highly manipulative due to his intelligence and gift of analysis. No one knew of this as this would compromise his ability to work his way up to CEO. "Pathetic... " he was amused by the way that man reacted"... if he would just realize that following company policy and standards was so much easier, hell if he did then he wouldn't have even had to beg me to let him stay". He was fully aware that he had many psychological problems, but he didn't care why should he? He never thought that the way he handles problems was wrong but merely a strategic and analytical approach. He was also very distant from people never understanding why he should socialize snd and make friends, he never needed any regardless.

While walking to Liverpool Street underground station, it would begin to rain and so he would often have amused himself thinking of all the times he had to fire employees just to appease his bosses while. "That was the 50th this year, how many idiots work there, it's so simple, just follow the rules and do what you're told and you're fine. Honestly, life would be a whole lot better if people followed the rules." for years the man had looked down on those who never think before acting and refused to work.

While walking he had a strange feeling of being followed but paid it no attention, the exhaustion from dealing with those lesser than him was causing him to be partially paranoid, While crime was relatively high in London, there was no way something like him being robbed would happen on a busy street such as this one.

As he arrived at the station the place was semi-crowded, full of different people: young, old, tall, shot. He saw a few high school students hanging around harassing passers-by " how ridiculous, they can't think of anything more enjoyable than yelling and smoking, and these are the future if sonif rather die than see what happens then" He tended to read while waiting for his train to take him home, he never cared about the news or media, in general, he was more of a classical man primarily due to his upbringing from a semi-upper class family. He never expected that he was followed the entire way by the very man he had just fired, as the train was arriving a sudden push caused him to fall directly into the path of the train. Although while falling the world began to slow down, the rage-filled man stood where he stood moments ago frozen in a state of shock and anger.
