Several days earlier as Jessica was told that Hue's Ki is undergoing a metamorphosis.
"old man, why is it that he's only metamorphosing now" Jessica asked.
"because of that special Ki within his body" the old man replied. The same time black Ki is slowly enveloping his body like a cocoon forming little by little.
Looking at the what is happening into the Ki in Hue's body, she was stunned, seeing pitch black Ki that slowly envelops him.
"Uncle, is he alright" she said in worry.
'Bahahaha… our little Jessica is really worried of the boy.' The old man thought while looking at the hysterical look in Jessica's face. "it looks like the morphing process accelerate now, but from the looks of it, it will still take at least a week to finish so don't be a worrywart." Then he leaves the room after closing the door and got back in the bar.
After pouring himself a glass of wine he sat and drink happily.
"you look likes, your enjoying yourself old man." The red-haired middle age man Robert, enters the inn, and sat besides the old man in the bar table.
"oh, if it isn't the number one hunter Richard." The old man sarcastically said.
Richards face turn red in shame when he heard what the old man said. "Please spare me, I don't need your sarcastic jokes right now."
The old man looks at him with a serious look on his face. ''then, what is it that you need, I know you won't go through so much trouble coming here for something trivial."
Richard struggle to say the word as he looks at the old man. "I- I- I wish for you to send my daughter to THAT PLACE."
Hearing this the old man is shock, but quickly composed himself. "So, when did you figure out that I'm from there." The old man asked as the air inside the inn suddenly became heavy.
"Not long ago and I still need some real evidence to confirm my suspicion, until the day they gone to the forest." That day they rescue the kids from the rampaging silver hog, Richard caught a glimpse of the golden monkey Goku, although it's just a fraction of a second, it confirms what he was suspecting for some time.
"Bahahahaha… this old man is getting sloppy being discovered by a chump like you, Bahahaha..." then he takes out a golden card from his pocket.
"This card will be able to send your daughter to there, BUT as you may know after she goes there the chance of you two meeting will be almost impossible."
Looking at the card, Richard contemplate for some time, before taking the card and putting it away, then he poured himself a glass of wine and drank it in one gulf and said. "I won't do this if I have a choice."
"they finally found you, haven't they?" the old man said.
"no, but close, I can't really risk her being with me when that time come though."
"Bahahahaha… what a dutiful father you are."
Not long after that Richard send his daughter away to the dismay of her friends specially, Bren. For several days Bren pestered Richard, to tell him where Sasha went, but he won't budge. Thus, he kneeled in front of his house for seven days and seven nights until he almost passed out.
Until finally Richard said to him. "When your strong enough to beat me then at that time I'll tell you."
Hearing that Bren made a resolve and train as hard as he can, everyday until he drops from exhaustion.
Then after sleeping for 7 long weeks, Hue finally wake up. The black Ki surrounding his body already dissipates, and he clearly loss some weight sleeping for so long.
As he awoke, Jessica is the first person he sees, Disoriented, the crying Jessica hugged him. After a few minutes of he finally got ahold of what is happening.
He said to Jessica that he will go back home after he recovered but receives a none stop scolding in return. "Hue, unless you decide to live here forget about crossing that door." Jessica said to him.
Feeling that Jessica will never allow him to live by himself again, he reluctantly agreed to stay.
Several days after waking up he was able to recover his strength. Meanwhile for the past few days the Fatty Ban, Simon and Bren keep him company while his recovering.
Two weeks after waking up he started training on how to manipulate his Ki, but its harder that he initially thought, day after day passes but he still not able to feel his Ki much less manipulate it.
Not far away from Hue the old man is continually watching him.
After a few months of training coupled with some help from his friends, he finally be able to start controlling his Ki. Along with some intensive physical training his strength can now equal that of a full-grown regular adult.
Although his strength is significantly increase, he was still far from becoming a Rookie practitioner.
After a while because of his continued use of Ki, he finally able to use Ki perception as his eyes, although he can't see with his eyes, so by enhancing his Ki perception he was able to construct a basic image of anyone or anything in his mind. Thus, he increased the time he spends training is Ki perception.
But although now that he has his Ki perception his bamboo pole still never leaves his side, Jessica even asked why is the bamboo pole so important to him and his reply is only "it's given to me by someone important." After that they stopped asking him about it.
During the coming days the boys continue there training, starting to use different type of weapon and sparing every day.
Then exactly a year after the silver boar incident the four of them is now back at the entrance of the Goldhorn forest for the first time.
