Tang Jang Qin opened the document. "In this report stated that the main cause of death was ketamine overdose."
"What? Ketamine overdose? From what I know, the anesthesiologist in that surgery used the intravenous agent, Propofol (Diprivan®). Not the ketamine." One of the people in the meeting said.
"Yes. I read the report of the surgery too. It is indeed propofol." Another one supported it.
Both propofol and ketamine were the most commonly used IV general anesthetic. It was not wrong to use the ketamine since a lot of hospitals used ketamine for the management of acute and chronic pain.
