"Are you sure about that, Yggdrasil?" As I said that, I looked up on the tree and it shone a bright light of green.
"I am sure about my decision, if not I wouldn't have helped your child in making a bow." Yggdrasil said as it just happily danced with the wind.
"Well, I'm sure you have other plans with her. You want to join her adventure then?" Being a mother itself is a huge blessing, caring about your child and all.
"Why not? That girl seems interesting indeed." Ygdrassil then shone brighter and as seconds passed, a boy with a green hair, with a warm smile appeared on what was once a sitting ground for the tree.
"Let's go then?" Yggdrasil said as he looked at me for answers.
"Then name yourself for once, the kids may not know but the higher-ups will know who you are." I said that with a hint of anger.
"Indeed, the hugher-ups shouldn't know that one of the hardest to find monsters are here on 0206." Yggdrasil thinking of a name was having a fave of difficulties.
"What is the name of your child?" Yggdrasil asked me.
"Shiro."
"Then my name would be, hmmmmmmm, Rafael? It seems like a name for holiness though." He's still thinking about it.
"You wouldn't grow strong anymore because you already had Yggdrasil as your name." I looked at him with an eyebrow shot up.
"How about Ramon?"
"Are you joking with me?!" I was exasperated by his antics.
"I'll just use Iggy. For **** sake, why are you being angry for nothing." Yggdrasil, now named Iggy, looked at me waiting for an answer.
"Because I have to teach my Shiro how to use the bow." I heaved a sigh of helplessness.
"Oh, you don't have to worry about that. That girl has an amazing sight as well great strenght for a human her age." Iggy said that and walked to the direction of our home.
"Really that girl, she hid her abilities from me." Haysss.
-/- Shiro POV -\-
So once I returned home, I saw my brother and decided to ask for a dummy to train with for the time being. He being the kind twin I have, he got a dummy from the storage room and settled it 50m away from me.
"So this should be about the right distance to start with." I said that and got the "Filter : Combat" turned on.
Looking at the dummy, I aimed at the dummy and pulled the string and waited for my UI to detect the trajectory. Actually I didn't have to wait since when I was pulling, the crosshair was around moving.
I look at my UI and started the "Nanosecond Simulations" and practised the bow in there. Now a normal brain may not endure but with me having the UI, it was fine since it removes the unnecessary information from the simulation.
Now practicing it a thousandth time in my mind, I look up into the real world and aimed at the target. And then of course, let the arrow fly.
As soon as the arrow left my bow, it took a straight line from where I was to its target.
That was my first arrow that flew from my bow, officially that is. And enthralled with the feeling, I step back to 100m away and then continued the process of "Aim > Sim > Shoot > step back 50m > repeat" .
And while I was enjoying my shooting marathon, I seem to have hit someone on my back and I turned back to see mother looking at me with a smile.
"Hey Mother, what's up?" Me being clueless and all didn't find the boy standing next to Mother at all and why my Mother just stares at the dummy all the time.
"See, I told you. No need to teach her the basics." The boy with the green hair said as he goes near the dummy as he continued, "And these arrows, can be used again with putting just one point of your energy."
"Really?!" as I was excited by the new discovery, I tried it as soon as I had gotten a used arrow. And girl I was surprised that they are repairing theirself.
"Remember that every item that has ¤ symbol on it defines that they can be repairable with a certain amount of energy." 'but you not need worry as your energy is the most pure, with your white hair being the representation of having pure energy.' Mother says this to me and took the bow.
"I'll show you something amazing, look." Mother being the former archer, she took my bow and aimed at the sky. She continued, "Use energy as a guide to where you want your arrow to go. And then, release the string."
As she let go of the string, the arrow flew upwards and then a sudden decrease of altitude and then changed into a straight line trajectory going to the head of the dummy.
"See?"
"Let me try?" I said that with confidence and did my simulation and then let go of my string. This time, it was perfectly the same with what my Mother did.
"A genius? Or a monster?" Mother said that and lookes at the boy.
"I saw her brainworked extremely quick that I didn't see what it was working on but I think it was undergoing a certain amount of repetitions. So I'm guessing she was repeating a certain movement in her mind so that she could do it properly outside." In other words, a real monster.
