Chapter 9 - DREAM 1: Chapter 8 :

So after that awkward dinner, I took some time to wash up and dress for going out. After wearing the nearest dress I could find which happened to be a sea-green midi and dapping some chapstick on my lips and tying a go-to bun I joined them in the living room. "Wow, pretty missy, looks so beautiful" he squealed, almost childlike. I ignored him and put on my shoes while mumbling a "Let's go" to Aaron. I waved to Brownie as I locked the door behind us. I took out the car out of the garage and the men stepped in. Aaron beside me and he at the back. For sometime I was surprised by his stillness and perhaps disappointed. I drove fast to the nearest clinic I could find while trying to calm myself that it's going to be a normal routine check-up , nothing wrong in it; but for some reason I found myself in quite some anarchy. We descended from the car, got an appointment and waited in the lobby. All this while he was well-behaved or he was pondering something, I don't know. My anxiety pulled my thoughts back. The doctor wanted to talk to him alone so we left him inside for a minute and after that the doctor's conclusion was just as Aaron expected " I guess he was given some sort of regular potions found in the market. Don't worry , he'll be fine in a couple of hours" I finally felt relaxed after hearing those. "See pretty missy, I am all fine now; the doctor said I'll regain my memories after an hour or two. Isn't it great? " He squealed, childlike. I turned over to him and bam.... was blinded by his flashy smile, almost hypnotized, I replied "Yeah, it's great" I couldn't help but grin like a silly girl. After a couple of minutes happy driving, I pulled over at my garage. Brownie recognising my car started barking gleefully. I opened the front door leading the boys in and patted Brownie's head, ' it's all right, boy. I am back home ' . He's always so over-excited seeing me back and he's also the second major reason why I like to stay back at home; the first being books, though. I've made quite a library of my sunroom and my storeroom can be easily be defined as a book store of my favourite subjects, which range from Norse mythology to parapsychology and even cellular memory. It has become so much of a mess that I have to schedule a week once a month to arrange them; although I skip such schedules frequently; I am so lazy, hehehe.
