Isa was munching her pancake happily, when suddenly her brother looked at her. "So how is your people saving quest going on? I did not know you had this side in you!" He smiled looking at his little sister, proudly.
"Oh! Yes! That's a good thing you did yesterday sweetheart! We are proud of you!" Her father too looked at the girl happily.
Isa looked at her family in confusion. "Huh? What did I do?"
"Oh! Now don't be modest sister! Don't tell me you have not read the newspaper!" Isa's sister pulled Isa's cheeks lovingly.
"I did not! But What does a newspaper have to do with me?" Isa spoke, stuffing another big bite of pancake in her mouth.
"Here read this!" Her mother handed over the day's newspaper to her and pointed at an article right on the front page.
Isa looked at the news in surprise. Their was a picture of her, standing with Jacob, right in the middle of the road. It was the moment when she was telling Jacob to enter her car, after she was about to hit him with her car. Luckily Jacob had by then turned away his face from the media, so only his back was visible. The article's headline was 'The real life princess Isa, turns a life saviour!' The words below it explained, how Isa has helped a dumb and a deaf college mate, who was about to be crushed to death. All sorts of praises were written for her!
"Ohh! This!!" Isa's face grew red in embarrasement. She now could not tell her family that she had lied to the media. "Ummm! Yeah! Just a small thing!" Isa chuckled in nervouseness looking at her family. They all were looking at her proudly, as if she was a wonder woman who just returned home after saving the earth. "Ohk guys! Don't over do it. You are embarrasing me!" Isa folded the paper and resumed her eating.
Everybody else too happily started eating again, still feeling proud!
Two pancakes later....
*Burp*" Ohh! I am so full, I am so sleepy now!" Isa patted her stomach happily!
"What????" Everybody spoke in unison and looked at Isa in surprise. This is the least she has ever eaten in her life.
"Are you feeling alright? Sweetheart!" Isa's father asked her, touching her hand to check her temprature.
"Oh! I am fine dad! I actually stopped by at a friend's place for breakfast, so I ate a little bit there too! Though you are not entirely comfortable enough, to eat your heart out, so I ate just a little, but now I need to sleep!" Isa yawned loudly, getting up from her chair.
She took the elevator to her room and in just a few minutes she was lying down on her bed, sleeping peacefully in her pyjamas and snoring loudly!
