Chapter 8 - Pain!

Suddenly, Jacob heard a loud hooting from the same table and he again turned to see the golden hair girl, who was now cutting a giant chocolate cake. She was jumping like a small kid, clapoing her hands, who could not wait to taste the cake.

"How kiddish can you be! What are you 8 years old?" Jacob mummbled, looking at the girl's excitement. He was again disgusted by her attitude.

He then remembered the poise and sofistication of Hanna, the trait which Jacob loved the most in her. She was a very self-composed and calm girl, who always maintained her composure and image.

He then turned to look at the bartender and held another shot glass. "But...But...She dumped me! That too through a watsapp message! She did not even bother to call me!" Jacob drank another shot, while bartender stood there, listening to Jacob.

"Oh!! That is a rough thing to do pal !! My sympathies!"

"Thank you!"

Jacob again heard the loud hooting voices from the same table and turned to look at the crowd again. They had opened a champagne bottle and Isa was now drinking straight from the bottle, spilling out the froth. Her friends standing around her cheered, while she danced and gulped the bottle.

"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Only if princess Cinderella was a real person, she would die, looking at this princess."

He looked at the bartender again and gulped down another shot. "To life, that sucks!!"

He sat there for another one hour, internally cursing his lonely life. The club was slowly getting vacant, while the noises around him were getting much less. After an hour, Jacob decided to leave. He stood up and paid for his tab and left the bar. By the time, he left the bar, his will to live any further, had completely vanished.

Instead of waiting for his car in the entrance of the club, he walked away starring blankly at the empty road ahead. He walked slowly on the vacant and silent road, feeling devastated. "I do not want to go back to an empty home. Infact, I do not want to live this empty and lonely life!"

He walked for a few minutes, when he noticed a bridge at the far end of the road. His pace increased and he walked with determination in his eyes. "Let's just get over with all the pain and suffering!"
