When Li Muchen heard Heya's question, he wanted to say something but he heard Sara speak softly.
"She was my friend"
"Was? Why did you both drift apart?" Heya asked curiously.
"Li Heya, you shouldn't ask people personal questions like that" Li Muchen interrupted with his gaze still fixed on the road.
Even though he knew that Weiyoung was Sara's friend, there was more to it and he did not want Heya to open up a closed wound.
Joreen kept quiet and just looked outside the car's window. She knew that this time, this was not a place for her to step in.
Li Muchen looked at Sara through the corner of his eyes and he could clearly tell she was a bit sad.
Sara was quiet for a while then spoke with a sad smile.
"She never really liked me. She was with me because she didn't see me as a competition... I guess" She added skeptically.
