"Oh my goodness!" Cixi exclaimed after Sara stopped narrating her encounter with Madam Li Sun. "No wonder your father was so angry."
She looked at the direction of the bedroom's door. Jianjun probably speaking with Mr Chu in his room. Bilike and Joreen were both in the sitting room while Cixi had urged Sara to give her the full gist.
"He is really angry right?" Sara pouted.
Cixi thought this was the very reason why Jianjun didn't want Sara to be with Muchen 'for a while' like she claimed. Sara was never going to let go now. And it was going to be a big problem for all of them.
"How did he meet you? I mean, your father" Cixi asked curiously.
"I don't know how much he heard. But the moment Madam Li's car drove off, he suddenly appeared and pulled me by the ear" She used her hands to rub her left ear which was still red.
