Synopsis
Sealed away in an eternal slumber, darkness and light danced around. Being the existing yet nonexistent soul. All she later came to know was that she was only a few months old when they found her, sealed in an ice coffin inside a tomb. In her growth, she showed abnormalities that a child shouldn't possess. She was so knowledgeable yet she was also clueless. 'Who is she?' Her memories were blank. When she was trying to adapt to her now peaceful life, everything seemed to go wrong. Even the Heavens went against her as if to satisfy a personal grudge. Unknown pictures, scene after scene, like the frame scrolls of movies constantly buzzed in her mind, forcefully etched in the very depths of her soul, making her painfully memorize those seemingly unknown events of her memories. Those were her’s. It seemed like, even in this life she couldn't get a peace of mind. She was robbed of her peaceful life. She was forced to train herself harder. Stronger! More! It seemed that, in her quest for her mental peace against the very heavens, she was still too weak. Entry of WPC #65: Artifact, Weapon, Sword ( Titles used )

Chapter 1 - Prologue

She felt like she was falling in an endless abyss. She was surrounded by nothing but darkness as she floated in nothingness. She had always been like this — alone and confused, being surrounded by absolute darkness — only to have it replaced with a blinding light. This pattern repeated in an unending cycle.

She couldn't move at all, not even one of her fingers. It felt like she was bound by an invisible rope from the top of her head to the tip of her toes. It was suffocating. And much to her disappointment — she couldn't see anything in the boundless pit that was her home. It was as if someone had pulled a black bag over her head to play a trick on her, but she knew that it was impossible as there was no one but her here.

On top of that, it was silent – so silent that it was deafening. Sometimes, the temperature dropped to an unimaginable level. It was so unbearably cold that she could feel it in her bones. It was torturous – but she loved how it felt. She liked the coldness as it was the only thing she could hold on to to keep herself sane and prove she still existed somewhere.

She couldn't see, hear nor move. Oh, how vulnerable she felt. Incapable and fragile. It didn't make it any better as she couldn't even hear her own heartbeat amidst the silence. She didn't know how long she had been here. She had completely lost track of time.

'Has it been a decade? Or a century?' She had no idea.

She wanted to be free. To live outside this walls of darkness too. Just like the others do.

Was that too much to ask? Was she being too greedy? She had been wishing for it for far too long.

She closed her eyes subconsciously, closing the window to her soul, hiding everything deep within – the sadness, disappointment, pain and loneliness.

She let go and allowed herself to be consumed by the darkness – letting herself be pulled away further into the distance.

She didn't know how long she had been floating aimlessly for, as she let herself be carried away by the will of the darkness. For once, she felt that the darkness was comforting. After drifting for what felt like an eternity, she came to an abrupt stop. Just as she'd accepted her fate of drifting in nothingness forever, things changed.

At that moment, she reached what seemed to be the end — as there was an invisible wall blocking her path. Her body felt lighter – the suffocating feeling of being unable to move vanished as the nonexistent rope that wrapped around her suddenly came to a loose. Her hand moved as her body drew closer to the mirror-like wall. The wall surface was crystal clear akin to that of a real mirror.

There – for the first time – she was able to see something beside the darkness itself. Across from her, she could see a vague silhouette — her own reflection. The reflection was so vague due to darkness, she couldn't see it clear except for the crystal blue orbs that were staring back at her. She absentmindedly outstretched her hand before the mirror-like wall.

'Is this real?' She wondered. 'Who are you?'

Upon her contact with the smooth surface of the wall, a faint water dripping sound echoed in the deafening silence. Giving peaceful yet eerie vibes. Before long, the wall in front of her cracked followed by a bell ringing in the background.

'What happened ?" She thought. 'This has never happened before."

At the end of the abyss, a hint of white light was glowing. The white light was sparkling as it made it way toward her through the gap between the cracked walls – circling and twirling around her in glee. It crept over her until it covered every inch of her body. It was ticklish at first but then it quickly subsided. The light that covered her was becoming more and more dazzling – until it was blinding. After a moment, her whole body was encased in a huge ball of light. The powerful impact seemed to instantly crush her very soul. The pain was so intense that she began to lose consciousness.

In her semi-conscious state, she saw that the black walls had shattered – like how a mirror would break when it was struck. The darkness surged forward aggressively as it intertwined with the light. The two coloured lights twirled around one another as if they were trying to consume each other. The mixture of light and darkness dashed madly into her before they clashed and she was thrown harshly into the distance.

Everything went black as she lost consciousness completely.
